I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. You remind me of my granddaughter. You seem like a very caring mom and are making memories that will last with your family for years to come. As you get to be my age (84), these will remain with you and give you much comfort and joy. Continue what you are doing and spend as much time as you can with those little ones. They don't stay little for long.
So happy that you decorate with your kids in mind. So many other vloggers that have small children just decorate so neutral and never have a “family” ornament tree. My “kids” are all adults, but they still appreciate seeing ornaments from their childhood. Especially the ones from their late grandma.😘
Crystal I have to tell you my husband said I’m not aloud to watch your videos anymore, I ordered from Wal Mart the wooden bowl and the square one too. 😂. He is only kidding though. Crystal I am 68 years young and I absolutely love the Grinch and I have a Grinch themed tree. I worked for Lenox china & gifts and they come out with a new Grinch ornament every year and I worked there for over 12 yrs. My boys think I’m crazy and tease me about it but I love it. I have to say when you picked up the green tree and started laughing it cracked me up. Keep that fun spirit you have as you are a joy to watch. I did all the trendy Christmas when I was younger… but the last few years, I have loved the classic simplicity of the reds, greens, blues and golds. I live in the Shenandoah woods and our theme the last few years has been “woodland wonderland”. Sweet little animals and all the Christmas colors. I love it so much, it brings me so much happiness!

I think the mushroom ornaments are weird personally but that’s just my
opinion. They seem to go along with the gnome stuff which is meh to me as well.
Christmas makes you so giddy and joyful! I love it! Hubby agreed to let me decorate early this year! I will start next week.

Crystal...I had a thought as I was watching this video...have you ever thought of doing a "Thanksgiving" tree? You are starting with a lot of gold, champagne and brown colors. Put it up for the Thanksgiving holiday, then change your ornaments for Christmas. The kids will love the Grinch deocs, they are at the age where everything is in full excitement mode...I miss those days.
Linda Smith Davis on New England Fine Living always does a Thanksgiving tree. I'm going to do one in my dining room this year.
I think the mushrooms are related to the cottage core theme or for a woodsy or natural tree.
We changed our decor a couple years ago to Grinch and it’s so fun! My hubby just bought a new grinch at Costco. I thought he was crazy but now I love it lol. We do have that Santa painting with the bells on as well it’s so beautiful

Hobby Lobby has such a great selection of table decor! Their florals are FABULOUS! What a cool tree with rainbow lights for your family room! How exciting for your children! Charlie’s sherpa stocking is awesome! The red pom pom picks and berry picks are adorable! I think Wal-Mart online has Grinch items for a tier tray! You were lucky shopping today by getting some great deals!
We do a full size grinch tree in one daughters room, one Rudolph in the others, and we also put 3 other full size trees between my bed room and 2 living room spaces. I love that different spaces have different themes. Grinch is sooooo fun to me.

The new tree for the family room is perfect! I love Charlie’s stocking, adorable. I’m excited that you will decorate one tree with gold. I just picked up a gold tree collar for my new flocked pencil tree & I’m unsure how I will decorate it. It’s like Santa’s elves left the flocked ornaments hidden because they knew Crystal was shopping soon! 🎄❤️

Since you decorate so early, the brown tones on the tree would be really nice in your main living area (or dining room) where you see it most during Thanksgiving, and you could easily change them out with more traditional Christmas colors right after Thanksgiving, through December! Two trees in one!

I love the neutral flocked ornaments this year. I got the ones from Michaels and Target! Love them! I found the hobby lobby ones but they were a little dark for what I am doing but I’m so ready to start decorating ❤

The grinch tree idea is so fun!!!
Some people have an opinion on brown decoration for Christmas but some of my favorite decorations on my tree are glass pine cones along with glass birds and homemade icicles.

These are my favorite videos that you do! I love the Queensbury tree! The clustered lights are everything! I have 2 grandsons that would love all of that Grinch stuff! I bought them the stuffed Grinch last year from Hobby Lobby. You're making me want to decorate now but still a little early. Can't wait to see the final house tour when you're done! So i love seeing other people shop and see all the lovely decor. I think the Grinch decor is great for kids. They will love it. The paintings of Santa are so pretty. Also love the religious decor also. Too many beautiful items to mention. I love everything. What beautiful florals. Great haul. Awwww Charlie's stocking is so cute. We took our kids with us to hobby lobby last weekend to let them pick out decorations to decorate the tree that will go in our loft and they wanted a grinch themed tree as well. I thought it was such a cute idea. I'm all for it! They picked out that same green furry tree that was cracking you up! haha!

Yes…I drank something green! I have been decorating with a Grinch theme for the past couple of years, so I am so happy to see you incorporating the Grinch theme. I never knew there was a Grinch tree!!! 😳 I also have been doing a Hot Cocoa theme in my kitchen for he past couple years, but am adding in some gingerbread, cookies, and other Christmas sweets/goodies! I don’t have much space for a tree in our bedroom since we downsized a few years ago, but I did find a 40” diameter 7.5’ prelit flocked online at Walmart. I’m seriously considering it!

I went to my Hobby Lobby on Friday. It got me in the spirit. So overwhelming too! Picked up some ornaments & picks. I need to go through all my Christmas decor & decide what I’ll use & what I need to get rid of. My daughter has Grinch for her decor. Since it’s just my husband & I now will keep it rustic & traditional red & green with the red plaid.
I was so excited to see another video this morning! You have so much more ambition than I do, I am pondering even setting up one tree because it’s so much work putting it all away after the holidays (maybe I’m a Grinch 🤔). I can’t believe how things from HL look so much better when you go shopping!! I go to that exact same store and don’t really see much but then you go and film the same things and they look more appealing😅. Anxious to see how the Grinch tree turns out!
