Very nice guitar, ppl should give more love to the CBS visual (now that its well made hehe). Last week got a Strato 69 Custom Shop Journeyman LTD for 3200 euros at a sale in the city I live (couldnt use you link guys sorry). The guitar is like a dream, it screams 70s Deep Purple and the giant headstock is so cool!
Love those early 70s strats! This is the best strat of the American Vintage II series by far! Love the amber look, large headstock, bullet truss rod - the guitar looks absolutely beautiful! I give this guitar a SOLID 10! This is the guitar that Yngwie Malmsteen and Ritchie Blackmore used. Check out Peach Guitars review of this guitar, it sounds magnificent!!
Great review! Loved that you took the guitar apart so we could see the parts inside. I really like the sound of the 70s pickups and the rosewood fingerboard. It's a powerful but clear sound that makes notes pop and spank! It took me years to find that it was the sound I was looking for. I thought I needed 50s or 60s pickups, like everyone else is talking about. How wrong was I. Keep up the good work!
Thank you I appreciate that! It is a consistent setup across demos: Cleans are direct in, interface is a Universal Audio Apollo x4. Dirty and performance is a Fender Deluxe Reverb (Kemper Profiler Rack, M. Britt '67 Deluxe Reverb Profile), Ibanez Tube Screamer, Big Muff Fuzz sometimes. Thanks for watching -John
The specs say a C shape neck but I was pleasantly surprised that it was still a U neck regardless of what the listed specs say. I compared the neck to the Vintera II neck with a contour gauge and they were the same.
This is the Stratocaster that l love most:same years of my birth, large headstock, bullet truss rod and three bolt screws neck 👍👍👍🎸🎸🎸❤️
I love the 70s colors. I've got one on the ever growing list of guitars I must purchase.

Ritchie Blackmore is proud of you
Happy to have a 74 and a 75 hard tail both with pot codes from 74. Love them both!

"Perpetually out of phase". Sounds like they nailed "70s"
Thats so good
All I know is. That it sounded great in your hands.
Thanks! I appreciate it
Maybe it’s not that big a deal but I came from the general the 3 bolt neck plate was a no no. It definitely has those 70’s vibes.
Nice 👍
You guys do great reviews. Be really nice if you told us what your playing through so we have an idea of which amp your playing also.

Hundred percent agree with you when it comes to the sound not my type of sound
...what about tempo?! 🤭
How is it so clean!? The color is well aged.
It’s brand new. It’s a reissue

Where did you get those string trees? The don't come with 1973 Stratocaster reissue. I know. I have all three colors.
Looks good, but the natural is too amber.
."..all period correct "?? the stringholders are not (yes, their number is) :)
