I'd like to point out that this is a fantastic modern budget option for real estate photographers. I have had the R5 paired with the RF 15-35 (unbeatable IQ) and the 14-35 (very disappointed in corner IQ, it looks similar to this one). I'm pairing the RF 15-30 with an R8, which is sub $2,000 USD, and can't wait to see how it holds up! Great review!
Good review James! but, taking into account that this lens is aimed a full frame cameras, and that most of its issues are in the corners, can it perform better in a Canon R10?
10:47 slightly more expensive 14-35 f/4? It’s € 1000 more, or 2,5 times more expensive. On the allowance I get from my wife that’s a stellar price difference. Also, it’s not really fair to judge distortion and ca with in camera corrections off as it was designed to work with that. Or post corrections. The conclusion is very different.

You can get 0.52x magnification at 15mm using manual focus
The one question to include in your needs analysis: will your target audience notice any difference? That answer could save a good deal of money.

You can't compare this lens to third party lenses as there are no third party lenses for Canon full frame RF at the moment.
