I think that was the main reason Law saved Luffy. Will of D. and Corazon taught him to be nice to others. Even though Law is seen as an evil pirate, he has not done many evil things. He took 100 pirate’s hearts but all pirates are alive. Law is a nice pirate just like corazon but he does not show it.
