One of the best ones you have done. Great composition! So many things you can do over these riffs. Not to mention a great practice tool for experimenting with different modes
For you guys saying it’s in F major: as the chart says, it’s in C mixolydian, which is a relative mode to F major. The notes are the same, but the 1 chord is C.
Lovely and thanks! A question: what factors led you to using the capo for the melody? Have you created some space to play against the solo section performed sans capo? Sincerely mate; each track provides us all a new opportunity to learn. Thanks again so much! Carry on!!
Very cool sound! Can you tell me what amp and speaker you used for the solo? I'm currently shopping for new speakers and not sure yet if I want Celestion/Jensen/Eminence.
I am a little confused, because for me the track does not seem to be in C, but in F? Can someone explain me why I am confused?!? Or whats wrong with my thoughts 🤔
@@jankaufmann4305 Same i.e. F. The first time we hear that he's thinking C mixolydian instead of F ionian is immediately before the cut around 7:25, where he blues-bends Eb to E.
@ceooflonelinessinc.267 There are no wrong chords, but I think their functions have been misunderstood: The first chord in this track isn't the tonic, but the dominant (C mixolydian, as you noted). It starts V-ii-IV-I.
@@howardscarr9518 it's quite interesting that when you are trying to politely note that you are met with a slight irritation. Like why are you questioning this? The notes are the same! So let's call the song in G Dorian! The notes are exactly the same, I should note.
@@jankaufmann4305 my man, your can pay solo in parallel minor if you will. Traditionally when naming tonality of the song you mean Ionian. Especially if the song actually resolves into it (this one clearly does).
One of these guitar solos you could listen to for several more minutes and never get bored.
Thought I was going crazy. This is F major (so jamming in relative minor D works too)
The joy of modes ;)
@@Jaymzmiller tonal center is clearly F, so its F major, not C mixolydian (even tho the notes are the same).
And once again, Elevated elevates me.
That was fantastic. You've got a gift that I don't see very often.
Thanks for all the great jams. You're an amazing musician.
Smooth like butter.
Videos always hit the spot man! How you aren’t more recognized on here is beyond me, but man you bring every guitar to life! Great work!
Obviously, your versatility knows no bounds ♠️♠️♠️
Great track and beautiful solo! Your tone is incredible in the solo!
Love your videos man. Jam to them all the time. Your solo here has a very Slash-esque feel to it. Well done.
My favourite backing track so far!!! I like this kind of music!

Oh my word. That solo was amazing mate. Seriously, shivers down my spine! Great track to jam too also. Thank you!
This was a blast to solo along with. Thank you!
Can't wait till it's on the Bandcamp, wanna solo over it 🤩 Rough ETA? 😋
Done!
Do you gig?! I need your band in my playlist. :D
I love this! your very gifted! thank you for giving us something to practice to!
Another great track! I believe this one is in C Mixolydian instead of F Ionian. Just a heads up for other people out there!
Smooth bro..beautiful solo.

We should call it G Dorian then, right?
@@IgorMuller Not really, because, even if the notes are the same, G is not the tonal center.
@@DJAZfake C mixolodyan isn't tonal center either, F Ionian is. That's exactly what people who study theory at the very least are trying to tell.
@@IgorMulleralthough not knowing much about theory, tonal center is clearly C to my ears.
@@alexbucher5179 well it is not. That's the thing :)
Simply beautiful 🎸🎼👌👌👌👌. You never disappoint 👍😎
its in F, or what is it . C Lydian?
Yes, it's in F.
It's nice to see someone using a capo on an electric guitar for once and not playing just campfire first position chords.
Lovely and thanks! A question: what factors led you to using the capo for the melody? Have you created some space to play against the solo section performed sans capo? Sincerely mate; each track provides us all a new opportunity to learn. Thanks again so much! Carry on!!
Sometimes i wonder if it's actually me or just the backing tracks getting better
Definitely Backing Track 😅
Beautiful!
Excellent
Love your vids
Keep it up
Yea! 👍🏻
Man couldn't choose between a les Paul or a 335 😂

The track is indeed in F, but it starts with the dominant (C). The first 4 chords are V-ii-IV-I, not a very common progression.
@@howardscarr9518 thank you for your explanation 🤗 as you see I am not very good at music theory, but I keep learning 👍🏼
Hi where u from?
@howardscarr951whats the solo in?

Super 🎉
Nice backing track! (BTW it's in F, not C - which is possibly what threw your solo off towards the end)
The jamming track is in C mixoldydian, or which chords shouldn't be in there?

@@IgorMuller Taking any mode and claiming it is equally valid as "tonic" devalues that word. Is this piece in E minor (locrian)? The answer is no.
@@howardscarr9518 this exactly.
Great track, but this is not in the key of C (major). The tonal center is F major.

well technically this is F not C, you really shoundt count route note with mixolydian.
