- Aoife Wilson has never played Aviary Attorney, despite being a keen budding ornithologist/lawyer. Okay, she's neither of those things, so how will she fare with this most Johnny Chiodini of games?

So, is Johnny Chiodini Lawful Good or not? Settle this one for us please.
Johnny is Neutral Good, Aoife is Chaotic Neutral.
Chaotic Evil is chaotic chaotic. Nobody is like that though. Maybe Sam Niell when he comes back from hell in Event Horizon and I don't think even Aoife is that dangerous.
I'd argue Chris is true neutral since he can be really cunning and manipulative when he wants.
Johnny is lawful good. Definitely.
Aoife is chaotic neutral
Ian is Chaotic Neutral. Whenever there is a decision, just roll a dice. You may have obsessions though, like snaffling. Chris is Lawful Neutral - love the reference to modrons - old school D&D. Aoeife - she tends to do good things for the party, but when aggrieved she can become quite irate, the guidelines for which are in her own head (chaotic). Johnny is Neutral Good with a mirroring personality (likes to make everyone happy), and so when dealing with Ian - the destructive/dark/mustache-twirling side of Johnny is brought out.
-Johnny is Neutral Good. He thinks good is achieved through compromise.
-Chris is Lawful Neutral. Follows the rules, not to achieve good, but because they're there. Pretty much a modron.
-Ian is Chaotic Neutral. Chaos for the lolz.
-Aoife is Neutral Evil. Appeals to logic when convenient to get her own way. Shouts for it otherwise. She just speaks fluent Chaotic Evil.
No insult intended to anyone.

After the line "Let's get down to business" I was fully expecting Aoife to burst out singing "too defeat the Huns" and I'm struggling with the fact she didn't

Fun Fact: "Lox" as a word for Salmon (smoked or otherwise) isn't just an American thing; it predates America. Moreover, it predates Britain, England, *English*, the language the pre-roman Britons spoke, the Roman Republic, Alexander The Great, and The Iliad. Lox is one of the only words in English that has gone completely unchanged in pronunciation and (mostly) unchanged in meaning from its original Proto-indo-European roots. Sure, the meaning has drifted a little to be slightly more specific to the kind of prepared salmon it refers to, but that's still kind of incredible. When people started calling salmon a word pronounced "l-o-x", the Bronze Age Collapse was a distant, unimaginably advanced future. Ancient Sumeria would have been like the fucking Jetsons to them.
So, Demiaou is literally french for Of Meow. Which is to say, miaou is literally how meow is transliterated in french.
Frog is grenouille. Which is not pronounced Grenwee, but could be derived.
Demiaou could also be translated as From Meow. Also, family names with "De" at the beginning usually indicates nobility. The name of the... cat (?), Rorgueil, contains "orgueil" which means "pride" in French. The name of the giraffe, Couline, is probably a pun with the name Coline and the word "cou" which means "neck" in French.

Speaking about Farthing Wood, I remember most how Mr and Mrs Hedgehog gave up on life just before getting hit by a lorry while everyone else watched.
You are wrong Aoife, the kitty lady has her hands, or to be precise, her claws covered the whole chapter. Except during the flashback when she confess the crime.
Therefore, there are no inconsistencies, no plot-holes, the game is perfect.
I rest my case!

I love LTTP episodes with these two. They're so interesting and entertaining to watch, even just the idle chatting, banter, jokes and remarks like "The aardvark attorneys would come first."

I was so into the recounting of lines from "Men in Tights" that I blurted out "Hey abbot!" almost in tandem with Aoife. I know it's a gaming channel, but you guys should really do a review of that movie or maybe just split the roles up and read through the script reenactment-style.

I have watched this several dozen times since I found out about Eurogamer from oxbox dnd.
I was just describing how traumatised I was by the Butcher bird episode the other day, god that show did so much damage to me.
Falcon hell, that was excellent! Oh and Johnny is definitely Lawful Good (not that that's a bad thing), and I think Chris is too. Aoife and Ian are both Chaotic Good.

Maybe it's a stretch but is Baron Rorgueil supposed to be pronounced roar-guy? Like the way a lion could be a roar-guy, a guy who roars?
Orgueil can roughly be translated from French to "pride" in English. As in "being vain", that is. Pride also meaning a group of lions in English, there could be more than one layer on that wordplay. The added "R" at the beginning of the name sure makes it sound like a roar!

This is all very similar to Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. But this setting is much... cleaner.
