@@TabiTheCat It's only 70 dollars if you insist on buying the deluxe edition to get early access to the game. Regular price is 49,99€ where I live. That's still not great for a game that is barely different from it's predecessor, but don't make it worse than it actually is.
My grandfather was in one of the very first units that utilized a mini-map with enemy tagging and always said it made tracking the enemy forces considerably easier.
@@kevinhewston5621 the game has different difficulty levels... as you go up in levels, you get less info from the HUD (as well as other things getting harder, like AI seeing you quicker, no ability to use aim assist or permanently tag AI, etc). when you get to the top level, "Authentic," you get almost zero info on the HUD - no minimap, no health info, no weapon / ammo info (unless you pull up the quick-select wheel menu), etc. for a lot of us it's the only way to play 🙂

Found your invasion videos a short while ago, and honestly love your chatter and humor as you hunt the Karls. Good to see you got an early look here, looking forward to watching through as I eat my dinner in a short bit. :) I love SE5 (must do, creeping up on 1200 hours), but I do hope they've thrown a twist or two into Resistance to keep things interesting - we'll see.
I was iffy about Resistance since I didn't really dig 5, but this convinced me to buy. Love to see your 1st "slow " playthroughs. Doubt many people would dig it, but I love slow careful tactics.
I love seeing other people approaching challenges like this. Personally I would have snuck past everyone, it’s something I’ve actually gotten quite good at in Sniper Elite games. Sometimes I even make it through without firing a shot, but that’s not always the case. I’ve managed to make it through most of SE5 with a detection score of 0, though
I'm definitely excited, but I would like to see this have a bit more time in the oven. I'd happily wait longer for more content. Still, I'm optimistic, hopefully the game is good fun

The nice thing about going fast and loud in this preview is that it'll all still feel very fresh when you go slow and methodical in the full game with no time pressure. :3

I think the Sten MK2 was in Sniper 5, I dont think many people use it though as people prefer the shotgun for close range engagements. Though thats just from my limited invasion experience. Either Panzer or shotgun rushers coming at me. Still looks like it will be fun and Im excited to see your invasions!
Looks cool but I was hoping they’d go back to game design more in line with SE4 whilst retaining all the cool mechanics and game modes from SE5. Sniping in SE4 felt more rewarding than it did in 5.
Briefly played Sniper Elite 3…unfortunately didn’t give it or number 4 much a try until got a laptop this summer and tried number 5…loved it, 4 is good and bought all the others to give proper try but this one looks good also
I absolutely love all the previous games but can't bring myself to purchase this game! I RESIST! it's the same old rinse and repeat as the previous sniper elite games! After a while it gets old, he needs more options like, fly a plane, frogman missions, drive vehicles, fly a helicopter, swim in water, also the AI enemies are still as unaware as before! As someone just getting into Sniper Elite, what do you recommend as a new player? This brand new game or the last one you’ve been doing the multiplayer invasion game mode on?? Both look great but obviously I’m only gonna buy 1 of them. Lol
Honestly that’s up to you. The first SE game I played with SE4 and that was hell until I figured out how to properly think about the levels. Give SE5 a try, it’s more established, has all the DLC’s available, and should have no bugs (I don’t actually think SER will have many bugs but you can’t be too careful you know?). One tip for you is to think as laterally as possible. If you see a way forward then check for at least 7 other ways to the same objective, you’ll find more than that if you really look for them
Looks like there are some Interesting changes in enemy behaviour with a more cohesive response and much more sensitive. Denser enemy distribution should make it much more challenging. Your axis invasion vids for this are going to be amazing. Random question. The bullet mark in the window frame of the kill cinematic at 15:55 - what that a miss from your earlier snipe? If it is, it could indicate a more persistent experience during the run. (yes. I know. a bit of a reach...)

Tbh Idk if people enjoy sniper elite resistance tbh, all i hear is (this game is basically a sniper elite 5 dlc) but they dont mention if they actually enjoy the game,,or if it good or not,, soo i believe people gonna be this ,(i play it for a couple of weeks or a month then i not played it sinse i actually forgotten about this game) i think this game gonna be forgotten in the future
Honestly, very unimpressed with Rebellion selling this expansion content as a standalone game, just so they can double dip on selling us the exact same weapon models as DLC again. Nothing in the promo materials suggest SER will address ANY of the core audience's gameplay complaints about SE5 either. I'll be waiting until it is on a very deep discount before I pick it up... Also really sick of this setting already; the glaring, total absence of the French populace across all the rural and city maps really doesn't help sell it as being occupied France. Rebellion should stick to desolate and de-populated theaters of war in the future, for the sake of immersion.

I was really hoping they would make improvements to movement and also allow you to go in more of a free roaming in as far as climbing on top of more things like small piles or boxes to make it more interesting.

I’m disappointed to say, I see no difference in the game other than the character and the map. That being said, I cannot wait to play.
Looks like DLC. Main thing they need to fix is the garbage enemy AI, but this looks as though they still charge blindly towards wherever you are.
