a little trivia. they didn't show this in the anime but in the manga there's a timer in the panel when he bodied the long-range group. it only last less than 6 seconds.
Mirio is a real protagonist?? I don't think so. I think Deku is still a real protagonist. Remember how this is start from season 1.Deku talk just like this is his past. And I forget what season that they show Deku probably has been alrwady in 100% power, stand and face 5 or 6 villain just like a final climax maybe the villain are the top. I still remember some part.

Think about him as a child. 6 years old. All he could probably do was turn his quirk on and off. Just drop underground then pop back up. Wouldn't seem that impressive, but he made it strong. His body too. Being able to phase through things doesn't give you muscles like those

It requires many steps and extreme focus to do this thats why he is indeed a top hero student.

In season 4 we will probably get Internships and Overhaul arcs for over 12 episodes, then they probably will still be able to fit Licence Redo, Festival and Number One Hero Arc - as the last one has totally perfect vibe for being a good finale. Especially when there is a nice cliffhanger there. That will leave the arc we have now for season 5 with one an the half of the year of manga material. I remind you that when we started season 3, Overhaul arc was still being finished. Still they may also end on festival leaving announcement of new top 10 hero ranking to the beginning of the season 5 with strong start or as a cliffhanger of season 4. That would be also possible as Festival arc had also a nice finish - with closure of Pussycats and the best Duo ever.
MJM also its speculated by a good majority that this season will be delayed because of how close we are it doesnt matte if we dont catch up now but they have to slow down or we will. Overhaul arc is not going right now... It is old one already and I don't find it as being the best one - people actually were so over it, when it finished. Unless you are actually talking about arc we have now - which will definitely not be in season 4. Man, I just know I won't like Mirio. I don't like how more and more OP people show up out of nowhere. And Mirio is pretty lucky for that quirk. Just because he had to really train to make the quirk amazing doesn't mean the quirk is bad. Literally every pro hero has trained forever trying to be amazing. Mirio isn't special in that sense. Also you will be happy with the finale of the Overhaul arc - I actually don't really like Mirio either (I prefer others from top3), and hype about him literally is killed at the end.
The point of mirio is not to be op, it's to show progress. And mirio is pretty special, he could literally slip through the earth if he didn't have control, and he also cannot breath. And yes the big three are introduced as cringy but they aren't, I can personally tell you that amajiki (sasuke guy) has a shit ton of depth

Everyone knows that deku is the main character but what this man mirio does next season, coming from someone who literally just read it, is amazing. I understand why everyone loves him. Main character isn't literal, but this man outshines deku which is why he's called that
