This whole album has Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater) on drums, The Rev had passed away and MP finished the album and toured with them to honor the Rev as MP was his favorite drummer. Why you don’t see a drum performance in the video, just the drum set all lit up at the end.
I thought that The Rev did Welcome to The Family and Nightmare before he sadly passed away, R.I.P The Rev, one of the greatest drummers ever
@@deracer69 The Rev still played on demo recordings. Mike mostly mirrored his playing so the drum arrangements are by The Rev. You can definitely hear Mike's trademark fills in this song though. There's a demo version released of this song where The Rev plays, and he has backing vocals on the album that were from the demo session.
Mike thought he had the whole gig (joining he band fulltime) which wasn't the deal. Someone fucked up somewhere.

@@deracer69 the Rev had alot of the drums already recorded on demos, mike just laid down mainly the revs drums and then added some when needed and then toured with them
A band of massive talent with an incredible vocalist yet they not only get too little respect they get hated on as well.
The thing I like about them is that I’ve never heard another bands songs that sound like them especially a little piece of heaven

Portnoy just dominates on this album. He really goes ultra beast mode on the closing track called Save Me.
There was one day I think I watched it about 20 times! It just hits omg!!! Tell me it is not one of the best songs you have ever heard!!!? I feel every word!!
Another Avenged Sevenfold reaction that would be amazing is afterlife, it's always a fun time seeing people watch the solo and the song itself is just fantastic.
I feel that you guys would love "And All Things Will End", Syn's solo at the end is just absolutely nasty.

You definitely have to react to critical acclaim,afterlife ,beast and the harlet from live in the LBC. You will truly see all these guy's talents on display, especially the revs drumming skills and his backing vocals . M. Shadow's screams in this show are absolutely unbelievable. I would recommend doing the whole show,it's an absolute incredible performance.
They have one of the best guitarists 🎸 with sinister gates!
I saw them on this tour. They opened up with this song and who’s name shall not be mentioned was playing drums. The concert started out with a dummy body falling off the scaffolding with a noose around it’s neck. It looked so real then there was a wall made up of skulls being held up with pillars shooting fire. Top five shows I’ve ever seen live. 🤘🤘

hello guys, I'm a new subscriber, I would like to know if you can react to venom at war with satan, you will love it, it is a bit long but it is worth it, greetings.
I love his voice but my gf can't stand it...sigh
I was into it until.....I heard his voice. For some reason to me it doesn't match w the heaviness of the song. It's like it goes from metal to pop. Not a fan. But all in all, I can say they are very talented. Just not my cup of tea.
