I don’t care what general stores you and Jody has taken because I loved each one in their unique way. The people that give you the stories are very informative and ever so pleasant . I truly believe that the Southern people are more friendly than us Northern folks. Only been to one location not knowing there were many more. You can’t beat the nostalgia and how well they were built. So happy to see some still standing and running the business 😊❤
I've been visiting there all my life. No mountain trip is complete without a visit to the Mast General Store. Love history and anything of the NC mountains. My Mama's family are from Brevard NC. I've been to all of them in NC.
I would love to visit here sometime. Not close though. We live in NE Indiana. But we do visit the Smokies. So next time we are there, maybe we can visit this store. So cool! 😊
The one in Hendersonville is actually in chimney rock. It's a good ole building and store. Now we have plans on the Knoxville store as it isn't far from where we live in mascot

I've been to the Asheville store. Amazing! I love the soft assorted peppermint sticks that come in a box. Hard to find anywhere else these days. Glad to learn I can order them online! Oh, BTW...love your channel. I watch every single video. Only problem I have with them is after watching one, I can't get that song outta my head LOLl.
