Persephone (Opeth) | Guitar Cover by Alexandra Zerner

“Persephone” is one of my favourite acoustic pieces by ‪@opeth‬ so I got inspired to make a guitar cover of it. Of course, I wanted to stay true to the original so I added the keys and the voiceover as well.
For the keyboards, I used my Komplete Kontrol S88 MK2 with the built-in Electric piano and Mellotron in Logic Pro X.
The acoustic guitar is my 8-string nylon string from Ortega Guitars recorded using my AKG Perception 200 condenser microphone.

It was difficult to hear your voice, but not knowing this tune I looked up the lyrics, so no biggie. You have a lovely voice though, so had I mixed this I would have turned it up a bit. 🙂

This was amazing. What instruments do you play? Would you ever use a talk box with your electric guitar? I’ve never seen a eight string guitar
