    I'm loving these metronome exercises. They can be tricky until I catch the metronome's groove. Strange thing to say, but true.

    • @ThatSwedishDrummer
      @ThatSwedishDrummer  Год назад

      They can be very tricky indeed! Repetition and practicing it at a slow tempo is extremely important.

    Great ideas. As these metronome shifts happen, just pretend you're playing with a percussionist. Makes it feel easier.

    Thanks for the great practice idea 👍
    I've learned that the E + A exercise is easier than only the E or only the A. I guess it has more reference points for me to count.
    I spent more than 6 hours to catch it and still big challenge to go over 60 bpm.
    Keep practicing ✌

    • @ThatSwedishDrummer
      @ThatSwedishDrummer  Год назад +1

      It is a bit easier, since you have “more” to the subdivision. The rests are what screws with the head 😅

      @@ThatSwedishDrummerThis is become my favourite and routine practise now!
      My trick is to start with fill in "A 4 E & A" (lead with left hand)
      Since I can start easier every time, I can keep practicing and get used to the coordination between metronome and my body.
      The good result that my groove is sound much better than before when play along with my usual practice song!
      Big thanks to you once again 💛

    Noooooo!!! Practising with a metronome is cheating!!! One should only use ones inner beat and feeling!!! 😆🤣😆
    (I write this because of jeaulosy, I learned to play before the electronic metronomes - so yeah, you are right. It´s STILL cheating!!!)
