Sorry for the loss of your friend. That looks like a nice place too. those boats need way to much unless someone had everything and really knew and loved them.
Ahh! Pumping out the bilges brings back memories and also pumping out the HUGE toilet waste tank that hadn't been emptied all Summer season. First rule of pumping out said waste tank is to make sure the hose is connected really nice and tight... one of the lads didn't- funniest thing I've ever seen, especially as he was a bit of a know it all and I had just warned him to check it- Happy days ;)
Gotta tell you guys very enjoyable videos even when your just piddling around not really doing anything worth watching I'm watching thanks for you time makin videos to keep us entertained !!
The maritime environment is unforgiving even for well-maintained boats. Nice video. Sorry for your loss. Nothing like sunset, beer, food and friends. Maybe I got that order wrong, but whatever...
Your a good man for taking care of your friend's boats. I am sure they meant the world to him with many great memories. Unfortunately, they are probably more of a liability than an asset. Cost to dock them, the constant work to keep them on top of the water. I was kinda surprised you were slow to explore the aft cabin with the door closed after watching you spelunk your way under that 100 year old building to work on the plumbing a while back.Keep us posted as to what happens to the boats please
I don't think that sailboat will sell. The one I had was in much better shape and the previous owner had it for sale for cheap for a long time. Then they decided to give it away for free rather than pay for another year where it was docked. It did cost me a little to have it lifted out of the water and set onto a wooden cradle that I built to transport the boat on a borrowed flatbed trailer. Then paid a crane service that is less than a mile from my home to lift the boat and cradle together so I could pull the trailer out from under it then lower the boat and cradle down onto my driveway. After a year of pricing everything to restore the vessel, I tried to sell it for less than I had in it but ended up parting it out and scrapping the fiberglass hull. The 1050-lb lead keel sold for $400. Had a guy drive all the way from FL to NC for a few parts and also shipped the stern rail to Canada. Parting it out went a lot easier than I expected. Just takes time to remove all salvageable parts without damaging them.
Yo guys I just bought a go kart that basically matches everything in the 9 reasons you should get a go kart vid and I have no clue how to hook up the brakes, it has a master cylinder and a nice caliper but I'm not sure how to hook up the cables help plz
Ok, ike and john, I've got a challenge since you're so close to the coast, a small speedboat powered by a built predator! I'll be watching from Southern, IL!
Remember the 1989 movie dead calm? Today on Ikes adventures exploring the boat from dead calm lol 🌊 & by the way that food looks awesome starving me to death 😵
Thought I was on the wrong website for a second when Ike was whispering "Keep going..." lol. Sorry about your friend, nothing is harder to deal with then a loss of a friend
I race go karts in canada and we use a race engine called the briggs and stratton lo206 crate racing engine. It is a bit pricey but its a great long lasting high powerd engine you guys should try it!!!!
I'm sorry for the loss of your friend Ike. I think the old boats will need owners with a vision and plenty of cash. Or maybe Davy Jones wants them back... Dark night, deep water, "weren't we towing a boat? It seems to have disappeared... it was riding a bit low last I looked..."
watch out using wire brushes on your grill! you wouldn't think it possible but, you can wind up in the ER with one of those metal bristles in your throat, more often then not, they can not be removed because the throat tissue is too soft.
prolly need to go through both boats with bleach and a pressurewasher to get rid of the mould and algae but if you invest some time and money in them there going to be some nice weekend cruisers
Three words for wasps.... Bug-A-Salt! It's a pneumatic toy gun that shoots a pinch of table salt like a shotgun. Wacks flies, moths and crane flies (small game) with ease. Yellow jackets and wasps (big game), you need to get within a foot. Hornets (Dangerous Game - the Cape Buffalo of the flying stingers) less than 4 inches. Every day is a bug hunt.
Im so sorry to hear that you lost your friend. My condolences.
I wish you the same Ike

Sorry to to hear about the loss your buddy Ike. Make this most of life that you can, in the best way possible
That was only moderately less scary than the time you went crawling under that building with hardly any room to breath!! Wonderful!! lol!!
lol
Isaac...NOTHING better than having a trusted friend that that having a good time only takes each others company.
The ending time lapse is among your more cinematic editing. Very nice.

Welcome to sunset on the lake with John and Ike.... lol
that was just plain amazing at the end
Sorry for your loss, Ike.
thanks
That sail boat could be worth alot if you have the time for that kinda stuff.
In this area, it is hard to give old sail boats away.
That boat is a 100% goner. Even if you give it away nobody will want to have it. There are boats in better condition on free-boat.com.
Maybe, if it was a whaler, Bob Marley.
Awesome link. thanks man. imma get a new project boat.
Yea that boat is a gone er!
When you're by the water, the hobo meal should be shrimp, sausage and potatoes, but either way you got food in your belly 😁
I love shrimp
The maritime environment is unforgiving even for well-maintained boats. Nice video. Sorry for your loss. Nothing like sunset, beer, food and friends. Maybe I got that order wrong, but whatever...

yea. no one will want it
that moldy boats next stop should be the scrap heap.
Joe OP they usually don't take them
but it could be donated to one of those places that scuttles old boats for ocean habitats or "artificial reefs".
Yo guys I just bought a go kart that basically matches everything in the 9 reasons you should get a go kart vid and I have no clue how to hook up the brakes, it has a master cylinder and a nice caliper but I'm not sure how to hook up the cables help plz
Isaac, that boat has a bunch of mold. You might want to check it for black mold which can make you really sick if you inhale its spores.
I'm sorry for your loss, Ike.
thanks
Ok, ike and john, I've got a challenge since you're so close to the coast, a small speedboat powered by a built predator! I'll be watching from Southern, IL!
I believe the best solution to those boats is to just quit pumping out the water...
lol yea but not next to the pier
5:52 When you say that your fine but your not really fine 😆
you guys should do a predator mud motor build
Do one munite burn out challenge and what lake yall at
tar river
Isaac it'll be fine what's that
make a video on the 300zx
I think that's a mighty generous offer for that sailboat, since they don't usually come with Mold !!!!!
Awwww what a lovely bromance
Remember the 1989 movie dead calm? Today on Ikes adventures exploring the boat from dead calm lol 🌊 & by the way that food looks awesome starving me to death 😵
