New setup: drive.google.com/open?id=1EjJiyIgz4SJEzZIueDG_ndAzLD-YKd-l There isn't much difference in terms of hotlaps times, but for races this one is more comfortable, for me at least. Have fun.
@@richardlittle9975 Hmm, I don't get what do you mean! The link sends you in a blank page with a blue download button in the middle of it. Click on this button and then drop the .ini file in your Setup folder (in My documents/Assetto Corsa/Setups you'll find several folders for each car and track) and then load it from in-game. You don't need to open it?!
I'm on console ps4? Think I've tried to do all the values on your original 1 but I'm English so was quite hard setting everything may have few slightly wrong as I guessed. I've just bought the T300 rs GT edition wheel with t3pa PRO pedals what do you think??
Oh, I see. Yeah, I'm afraid you cannot import external files on console. I will upload a couple of screenshots showing the values of the setup in the link then, hopefully they're similar on the console version. Regarding your wheel choice I'm not the right person to ask. I've heard people recommending it as a good choice but I still use a gamepad, so I've absolutely no idea how the T300 feels/works, sorry!
Incredibly fast setup man! Im able to do a low 2.19 and high 2.18s consistently with it. Car feels quite oversteery but the braking feels consistent and i can throw it around the track alot, well done 👍
Yes. Times up to 2:17s are possible with default setup; 2:16 as well even if it takes a bit more effort. Although from what I remember, the default setup has some issues regarding gears (the higher ones are too long, thus the car is kinda slow on the straights). So if you adjust gears, it's possible to set some very fast times with the default setup.
nice skills @Florent 93. I have a question. Why is the camber higher in the rear wheels than in the front wheels? This is the first setup I see like this.
Thanks. Are you, by chance, looking at the red slider regarding the camber angle? If so, don't pay attention to it because it's kind of misleading. You have to look at the numbers shown in the grey semi-transparent box on the right side because those are the correct* ones. In there you can see that there's more camber at the front (-1,8°) than at the rear (-1,0°). *correct = let's say so because camber values shown in the Car Status box, change depending on the starting position (for example, at Spa it will show different values if you start from the pit-lane or from the straight before Bus Stop). But regardless of this, it's still the reliable one.
In this case it was just a quick way to avoid lock-ups under braking (with a gamepad it's hard to anticipate them) and mostly to correct the braking distances. I didn't spend much time with this combo back then, so they were far from ideal!
I cant understand, I delete by mistake my setup, wich allow to take 264km/h at the end of the straigh, but now, even putting your gears set, I can´t pas 255... lool
From what I remember, it had quite a lot of oversteer haha. But yeah, it's a very old setup. If you want, give a go at the one in the pinned comment, it should be a bit better in that regard!
The setup you listed, i do not believe it's the same one, u were in high revs on the hill and that's not possible with what you showed. I've tried and tried, impossible. Maybe if final drive were to the left yes but not as shown, impossible pal, check it.
Hmm, what? It is the same setup and revs through Eau Rouge-Raidillon are pretty standard for that approach. You can take it differently i.e. keeping 5th gear all the way through and be in high revs, or get into 6th gear before entering it like I did in the video. But unless you don't take Eau Rouge-Raidillon flat out, there's nothing impossible here even if you go out of the optimal range when upshifting (~7200 RPMs).
@@florent93 I'm six seconds off the pace, I'll upload a video. Sure I can make up maybe a second or two but not six, my point is. With the set up you've mentioned the revs are really high, I've taken the same line as you, same time up til that point on the hill and the long stretch but the revs don't hit that high even at the end of the stretch. Doesn't matter if I upshift before or after the 5th revs begin to be limited, if I dial down the final drive one notch then yes it'll hit the high revs but not with what was posted, have around 200 hours on spa, I've got down to 2:20:280 I've gone as far as I can based on my skill, my track positions, weight shifts, brake points turn points, acceleration points are almost identical to yours it's just the top speed and take off, need to tweak the gears a bit I think. Find my own groove. Another guy who's a bit better than me tried and he couldnt get past 2:21 lol so not just me.
Yeah, better upload a video. First time I hear an issue like this. Top speed can change a bit due to wind conditions - only for non-hotlap modes - and a (very) tiny bit because of track and air temperature. But for revs, there isn't something that can affect them so much to reduce the final drive, especially considering that the gears used in this video are the probably the best ones to use around Spa/Monza and going as far as reducing the final drive will make the car slower everywhere and a lot slower on straights. Regarding times, it's normal: some guys have set faster times than mine with this setup, others will be slower.
@@florent93 might just be me pal. But I can do better with my own set up over yours, certainly on cornering. Holding the corner and not sliding as much. Will do a video. I'm away at the moment so when I get back

I tried your setup. It tends to oversteer under acceleration when coming out of a corner.
Dude, Unbelievable driving!
thank you for this. i dont understand how to set up a car and these videos help tons!
I clearly have a lot of practice to do - Even with this setup, i can only manage about 2:22. Great driving!

2:18;5 is my absoulte limit...
Bro how do you get a 2:15.4 i did everything perfect and got a 2:16.0
clearly not everything perfect then
Is a sub 20 possible with stock setup , I can't go faster than a high 2:24
Yes.

Ok, gear 1 gor T1 and the last S hairpin. Need to try that! 😊
Hey man unbelievable driving i believe you're using a gamepad? Could you share your settings?
cheers, couldn't get under 2.22 seems it was the gears, wasn't close to hitting high speeds.
