10 HEAVY ILUYSHIN IL76 landings & departures - IL76TD with classic ENGINES (4K)

- Last week I was able to film two Ilyushin IL76 of Aviacon Zitotrans at Eindhoven Airport. Both of them visited the airport within 24 hours. The sound of the classic IL76TD engines is just amazing and can`t be compared to the sound of the "Airbus-IL76`s" with modern engines (IL76-90). The IL76 is one of my favorite planes and the sound makes this jet so iconic. Filming two of these classic planes within 24 hours was just amazing. Sadly these Ilyushins are usually almost all white but the shape and the sound of this aircraft makes it up.
Nowadays there are still many of these classic IL76` s flying, especially in the near east. In Europe they are banned due to noise regulations, but whenever they operate a military flight they are allowd to visit europe with a special permission. In Eindhoven they show up sometimes. Mainly the operateors are Aviacon Zitotrans, Ruby Star and Zetavia. Ruby Star is not allowed to fly to Europe anymore because of the EU issues with Belarus.
The IL76 is still being built. The modern version of the IL76-90 is built in Uljanowsk in Russia. It was announced in 2010 that the production of a modernized Il-76, the Il-76MD-90A would begin; a proposed new production line would be located in Aviastar's facility in Ulyanovsk, Russia, and be operated in cooperation with the Tashkent works. At that point, the construction of two Il-76MD-90A prototypes had begun at the Ulyanovsk facility. The first Il-76MD-90A was rolled out at Aviastar's Ulyanovsk plant on 16 June 2014. On 29 April 2015, it was reported that the Russian Air Force received the first Il-76MD-90A built at the Ulyanovsk plant "Aviastar-SP" from the 2012 contract for 39 aircraft. The Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) received its first serial production Ilyushin Il-76MD-90A airlifter on 2 April 2019. As of mid 2021, 27 aircraft are ordered to be delivered in the period up to 2028 and 11 had been built.
