Oh I have to say I am surprised you bounced off Divine Rivals a bit considering how much you've been enjoying some more romantasy leaning stories lately! But this one is very cozy and wholesome and more youthful, so it makes sense. Curious to hear your thoughts on the ending, I think book 2 might be more up your alley with how much more that goes into the lore with the gods!! Also, love to hear that DCC 7 has been such a hit for you! You deserve that joy in your life. Safe travels and enjoy the holiday season fun 🤩
Around the 70% mark, I've been much more interested in what's going on. I finally got more info on this war, why it started and why the two sides are fighting...and now that we're into the part where the Roman has revealed himself, I'm enjoying how cute they are....though I have a feeling something really ugly might be about to happen..
Yeah... I'm enoying Divine Rivals but not as much as I did her first series - so far. Though I am still pretty early in. It doesn't have that magical feel that her Elements of Cadence duology had.
You really need to read ronnie spector memoir I'm 100 pages in and so far I'm enjoying it I finished icebreaker by hannah grace it was good but too spicy still reading scythe by neal shusterman and blackwood farm by Anne rice
"New Achievement! Posse Apprehension. The feeling of anxiety over the welbeing of Princess Posse party members. "Reward?! I won't spoil the ending." 😭I know the part you cried in. Hugs. 😘
I love how Matt Dinniman manages to shock and surprise me with every one of these books! That ending - whoa. I am VERY curious about what will be coming next!!
Love the Lumley love. I am picking up DCC book 2 in January.
An enchanted typewriter? That sounds fun! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving trip.🦃
The trip was fine until we came home and spent 12 hours in traffic going into Atlanta and then on the other side in Orlando, lol

Mistletoe mystery was cute
I should get to start it later today!
I might have to give DCC a second try next year, the game showiness really turned me off but looks like I might just have to ignore that.
They're SO damn good Heidi!
