It sure is nice to see a house thhat actually has a place for a tv thats NOT above a fireplace.

BUT....
to make it MINE...
Here's what i would do....
That small bedroom....
Office/computer room with access to an attached 2 car garage, this is a MUST for me, with a work area and maybe room for a washer and dryer out there. That way the area that those are in the house could be used for a pantry and storage closet.
Maybe replace some of the wood walls with sheetrock or even rock for walls.
Personally i think this house is a little overboard on wood.
I think thats about it.

On some acreage with trees and small lake or pond.....

MAYBE even wrap the front porch all the way around to the back down the right side of the house, across the back to a door into the garage I would add.

The entry is awkward - consider moving the bookshelves, swapping them with the coat closet at the foot of the stairs and add a small bench and a some tile to protect the wood flooring at the entry.
For me, the small bedroom by the laundry would become a home office/craft room.
There looks to be sufficient room next to the fridge to include a shallow pantry cabinet or a deeper one that faces the dining room.
Upstairs, I would shorten the partition wall a bit, rotate it 90º so the dressing table is on the closet side moving it just a bit closer to the closets. This will create a small sitting room with the TV. Would also consider moving the bed to the wall opposite the closet so that the nightstand doesn’t interfere with the closet door, which might necessitate adding a short privacy wall/partition, depending on personal preference. Would also consider adding a small stacking washer/dryer in the closet area closest to the bathroom (or even into a corner of that cavernous bathroom!) to avoid lugging laundry up and down the stairs and through the bulk of the house.
Add a garage with access to the kitchen and you are set!

Nice little home, Jasper. Unfortunately, neither of the downstairs bedrooms are large enough to be used as a master suite, and although the upstairs master suite is absolutely absolutely spectacular, it’s time of usage as a master suite is limited as we continue to age. The living room feels a bit cramped, but if there were no bookcases or the bookcases moved underneath the stairs, we could get our chairs and sofa into it possibly. The kitchen is quite nice, laundry room is workable and with the two downstairs bathrooms guests would be happy although cramped if there were two in each bedroom.

Like the design from the outside though I found the living room too small. The entryway on the staircase lacks place to sit other than stairs. And not enough cabinets due to the kitchen's bay window. Otherwise great job.😊
Great layout for a small family. The roof line over the porches flanking the main gable would need gutters. Rainfall might be problematic.

how many bathrooms are in the house
The house has a unique appearance, though the porch roofs are not designed for the snow load of colder climates. A bench could be added to the entry for removing footwear. The living room is small, though the kitchen has sufficient space, and an alternative plan without the fireplace would create a large, open-concept area. There is a lack of upper cabinets. The upstairs bathroom is huge! If desired, the upstairs suite could have a balcony over the front door, which might provide space beneath it for a better entry.
Did you ever stop to think that this home might be designed for areas which do not receive any snow, such as those in tropical zones? 🙄🙄🙄

In my other comment I didn't realize this was a Jasper Tran. All the Jasper Tran home plans are for those that don't know many people or have visitors, and for people that only own 5 outfits. All the bedrooms are so small you don't have room to change your mind and never enough room for clothes and other things. I've seen many designs where the dining seats eight but only a sofa for three in the living room because it's so small. These are designed for Jasper's ego, not for real living.
Maybe it’s because these are small homes. If you don’t like small homes, why are you viewing these videos? Just pass them by. Is it so you can criticize?
Horrible design. The living room is limited on how you can arrange furniture and too narrow with the staircase. That should be the main room, open and inviting, it's small and clustered with very little in it. If you want to feel the fire when you light it, there's one chair close enough to feel the heat, really MORONIC design. You can either sit in the one chair by the fire for heat and not watch TV, or only sit on the couch to watch TV. Apparently, the designer doesn't have a lot of friends over.
