The Sequids didn't make it to Earth. The crew member we saw at the end of the last episode with the shape-changing flag was a Martian. Sequids don't have shape-changing abilities, but Martians do and the same shape-changing abilities make them immune from the sequids.

That tiger faced dude is known as Battle Beast. He is the 2nd most strongest being in the entire Invincible comics. So, even if Omni Man stepped in, the result wouldn't have been any different. Also Robot is one of the most interesting characters out of all of them especially as we progress into further seasons.

The reason they didn't do it before was because you'll notice battle beast didn't partake in the second round where they beat the villains. And if omniman did step in, well he would be put the ground by battle beast. The fact that Mark was as "weak" as he was is the only reason battle beast didn't finish him off. He wasn't worthy of fighting for real. Omniman would warrant more effort, meaning battle beast WOULD kill him
