I'd like to see it with Kirkland Olive Oil vs Kirkland 100% Italian Olive Oil also. I just started to spring for the more expensive 100% Italian version thinking it's pure and not poisoning me like everything else is. Also here from AvE. Subbed to you as well.

This is great! AvE sent me here and I love it! I would like for you to tell us if there are other oils than what is supposed to be in the containers. I try to avoid seed oils so I make homemade mayo with avocado oil from Costco. We also use olive oil from either Sam's Club or Costco, but I've heard a lot of these oils can be cut with cheap seed oils. I hope you can point out what to avoid. Thank you again and keep up the good work!

Really excited to see you do the Olive oil Kirkland Brand. I’ve actually just subscribed now. I’ll watch for your analysis of that oil soooo many use it. Many wonder what a step up from the Kirkland Oil may be Oilive oil. Thanks very cool channel going to refer out for sure.
I am here from AvE, also! I am eager to see what the Kirkland Olive Oil shows. I appreciate the work you do! I would think that the spray oils would be different from the bottled ones. I would personally never use one of those sprays. You could always use a pump spray for olive oil if you need it sprayed. Glad to know Trader Joes is good, tho! Maybe a future item. Microplastic in Sam's club deer park bottle water tests? Maybe subsequent tests to bottles that were exposed to heat during shipping (like a 18 wheeler trailer that got up to 104 F during transport.) Microplastic in that? For example, I never liked the taste of Coke or Pepsi in the two liter plastic bottles....I always could taste it. Just some ideas friemd. Love the channel..thanks Ave Maria ;-)
This is great if we can get some usable information. A question popped in my head though. Should the testing be of "cooked" oil. I would think we get most of this stuff into our bodies after its heated up. Better? Worse? Same?
3:08 haha your O/0's look exactly like mine... I don't think I have ever seen someone make them like I do. Probably just a product of writing quickly. Particularly the little loops inside them. I never learned 100% how to write cursive however I am quite accomplished in writing in "recursive" 😅, basically printing without picking up the pen 😂

I’m not a transplant from AvE, although I’ve watched him for some time. RUclips brought you to me about six months ago…something like that.
Nice work. Glad to be here from Ave's channel. He want kirkland EVOO tested. I want Sam's Club 3 liter cheapest EVOO in Plastic bottle. I wonder if you can find microplastics in the olive oil due to the container? vs the superior glass bottled olive oil. Microplastics in the brain and organs etc seem to be all the rage in health talk right now.
Seeing the different tiers of the kirkland stuff would be cool. Meaning, testing the different prices per unit oils. Additionally, any with certifications or DOP stamps would be neat.

Analytical chemist here, love your technique. Also sent from Ave but will sub. I know you don't like oils but how do you quantify amounts of different fatty acids in the samples?
Countries and states will sometimes have certification stamps for unadulterated olive oils. I know California has one, the California Olive Oil Council stamp you can find on bottles. If you shop at Sam’s club instead of Costco, the cheaper member’s mark brand olive oil doesnt have the stamp while the more expensive bottle does.
Costco EVOO has changed. I think it has seed oil cut in it. We have used Costco EVOO to fry eggs over the last 5-7 years. This year i can taste/smell fish. I am one of those people that can smell the molecule that causes this in seed oil going rancid or when heated (speeds it up). The oils are stated to be sourced from Italy, and they have been known to cut the EVOO. Moving to Greek olive oil, they don’t play when it comes to EVOO. Also, look at your peanut butter label - they remove the peanut oil and replace with seed - crazy.
