- I rewatched this scene a thousand times and I just can't get enough. This scene shows you how amazing acting and great song choice can totally pull you in.
Song: M83 - Wait
according to IMDB, the girls improvised this scene. The officers were stunt doubles and Abigail and Georgie were told they could do what they wanted.
I had no idea I just went on to IMDB and saw that I’m shocked
The ending of this movie made me cry so hard.
Me too
same
Same
Mirabella Booth it made me cry too bro
I'm crying of the ending, but I'm laughing at Ashton Irwin. Your profile picture omfg
The scene where they were being pulled apart was 100% improvised. Amazing acting Georgie and Abigail!
3Angelk the cop eas actually laughing
3Angelk i almost cried at this scene
LA La land lmfao 😂 right
The two cops are acutally professional stuntmen.
and yet this is the best scene 🥺
wow, the girls' performance in this scene is breath taking
I love the fact that this scene was totally improvised
really? how do you know?
***** IMDB.com said it was =)
Daniel Selk
best scene in the movie
Best part of the whole movie.
If this had been shit acting, I wouldn't have cried.
But holy mother of Jesus. That was beautiful. This is what years in the industry looks like.
Julie Foster I Love Your Comment 💕
Julie Foster yes I totally agree
That's so sad the song made it sadder
Alexis Mccain name??please
Rochi Sotelo M83-Wait
All the best people are crazy fr
As a whole I thought this film could have been way better. But this scene alone... captures my heart in a way that few films have. This is a classic example of truly, beautiful, heartbreaking, breathtaking acting. The fact that it wasn't scripted and that Abigail and Georgie went for it just shows what they are truly capable of as actresses. I don't condone what their characters did... but the acting along with the AMAZING M83 in the background.. it is hard not to feel immense sympathy. Strictly from an acting standpoint... one of the best scenes I've seen from younger actresses ever on film. I cried and had to rewatch several times. A truly heartbreaking scene.
True this gets me sad the crime was insane I’ve seen the episode of deadly women
I cried at the scene it was on lifetime I got the feels 😭
There was another movie with three girls who pranked a lonely man, into thinking he was getting a date. It was funny at first, until he kidnapped them. I forgot the name of the movie, but it was great.
the best part is that it was completely improvised by the two of them, which shows just how great they are
So true
When you look at the ending by its self it doesn't seem that sad but just watch the whole movie it will make you cry so much
Giro you are so right.
ikr
So right. Because you have to see the movie to really understand why they did it and how strong their sister bond is
This is one of the best ending scenes I´ve seen. Great acting folks!
that is so true
wow.....acting is spot on...so believable...
And it's all improvised :)
Vampdiariesandpll Creations really? That's amazing!
Yeah it is
I was so fascinated with this scene. Georgie and Abigail did an incredible job.
The whole no contact thing is just too cruel. I get that what they did was wrong and everything but they were desperate and I would be to. They shouldn't be ripped apart when they kept each other alive for all that time. It's such a good movie though, I cried way too many times
Are you kidding me? Too cruel? Are you high?
No she's not high. Yes, these girls were extremely wrong but they had a really bad life and at the time they saw that as they're only way out. They could've handled better, but imagine if you were in their shoes, would you think rationally? Probably not. They were pretty much the only family they had left and it was taken from them. Being beaten would be easier than that because taking away a loved one and not letting them see each other for years, is torturous. So to me it's very cruel, and I'm very much so not high.
RandomlyEpicWolf me too
They killed their mother!
RandomlyEpicWolf it makes me wonder though they got released early did they have to still not keep in contact til the 10 years were up? Also I wonder if they talk now and if they are still as close as they were
first off , I cried more than u can imagine at this scene. Second of all Abigail and geprhie were two of my favorite childhood actresses
Zombieland and narnia!!
bianca djorghi and little miss sunshine
The whole event was a tragedy, start to finish.
this is one fucked movie.. I cried so much thinking of how I would feel if I didn't see my sister for 10 years
Abigail is my sister
+Anyssa Salinas ....? more info?
Well actually they each served less than half of their sentence. I don’t know if they were allowed to see each other after that but if not I’m pretty sure that after the 10 years was done they saw each other
They really deserved that, the judge was right. They are monsters!
@@grinsekatzenkanal224 Well the real girls the movie was based off of were definitely monsters and evil. However as far as this movie goes I’d say the mother is the monster because she caused her own death by being the worlds worst parent.
This movie really hit home for me. I sympathize with the girls, my mother is heavily addicted to pain killers and has been for mine, and my sisters entire life. Luckily we had our grandparents but watching this movie brought many traumatic memories back in my head. There were times while watching the movie i thought those girls could've been my sister and i. Thankfully we had people watching over us and knew what was going on. It's just so tragic. I wish people understood it from the childrens perspective sometimes.
@@adriaunaa5745 their life was just as bad, they wanted her to change for the better. But she never did, they had no other choice.
God Bless 🙏🏾💕, i’m so sorry about this . may God protect over you & your family Amen 🙏🏾💕
This is actually not the true story.
Yes the mom was an alcoholic but there was no abusive boyfriend or attempted molestation. The girls had friends with fancy houses and swimming pools and they were jealous. They wanted that awesome lifestyle and the nice clothes but believed that their mom's alcoholism prevented them from being able to do so.
They admitted to killing her for the life insurance policy and had plans to buy a farm, grow marijuana, and have a pool.
Ok so it now turned out that the mother wasn't as bad as the girls said she was. She was working 3 jobs and going to university..... Catherine and Caroline killed their mother in cold.blood and did 6 years in prison and 4 years supervised. One of them finished law school in prison(for free) and the other did some science degree. Both have high paying jobs now, both have kids and the past can never be used against them. I don't feel sorry for them one bit!!!!
If I ever decide to have children, THIS is the type of bond I need them to have with each other (MINUS the matricide and whatnot.)
If I was the policemen I would of let them have one last cuddle...
Izzy S yess because u never gonna see her well Idk
Izzy S he should have
THANK YOU
no. realistically speaking, the scene would not have been so intense. in the end, the stuntmen and the actresses made this movie ….
have
The ending was really heartbreaking, the fact that the girls tried to ask for help but no one listened to them, they had become desperate, I hope after their release they had a chance to meet each other atleast once
That ending breaks my heart!! I kept thinking" jesus...you send them to prison at least let them be together!!" Abigail&Georgie were amazing in this scene....so sad. Being apart was worse than jail for them..
Yeah they did really good at acting this out.
They don't deserve to be together. That's why the judge separated them as part of their punishment.
Why are you sympathizing with killers? Oh prob cause there female i assume. They deserve what they got
Michaela Robertson no acting took place here. The cops are just two stunt doubles, and the director just told them to have at it.
everyLastPage i agree
Song
M83 - Wait
+Cruz Martinez Thanks
I know this was three years ago but thanks :)
I cried so much:( they were so close...to be separated from each other must have felt like half of themselves was gone
I think the ending scene was the best in the whole movie
that one yeah the rest of it was kinda wack tbh
Actually the movie was critized for portraying the girls as victims and making the viewers feeling empathy for them. The real motive they had was to get the mom's money and being able to afford nice things
Yep, I remember this case being featured on Deadly Women.
I cry everytime at this scene omg
I can't imagine having to be separated from my sister for 10 years
You don't have to because I guess you don't kill someone and you are not a cruel monster.
Both acting was amazing in this scene but Georgie really blew me away.
She's totally gonna win an Oscar someday!
oh god i cried at this part.
not when they killed the mom but when they we're going to be separated from one another and not be allowed to contact one another. great film
This was the part that made me cry so fucking hard
this is so sad I cried so hard did anyone else cry
Me 😞
I too cried so hard during this scene :'(
yes because I was separated in a similar situation from my sister.
i did
Diamond funnygirl i only cried when i first watched the movie about 2 years ago
D you think the real sisters have actually seen the movie
Gabe Steidl why?
R AA i think
Yeah I don't think either of them would like attention for this. But who knows... Unless you know them personally, you can't really say what they are like.
R AA the sisters have changed. They're adults now, and they know what they did wrong. They're very kind, and tend not to talk about the past. Sandra and Beth are fake names, btw.
Their real names are Caroline and Catherine Karubin
How is this a horror film??? This is drama
Randi Anderson cause they murdered there mother
I think it’s considered a thriller. Not horror.
But yeah, Drama fits perfectly too
I had so many emotions with this movie. I found myself feeling sorry for the two girls. Should they have killed their mother? Absolutely not. They should've documented the abuse and maybe built a case, they could've maybe gotten away from her and her toxic life style. She didn't deserve to die, but sorry she was an awful mom. I felt their desperation, and when the boyfriend slapped the little boy...I think they snapped. They were desperate for a fast solution. I feel the aunt could've been more help, other than just saying "support your mother". Um there mother was a freaking pathetic train wreck. It's one thing not to care if you're beat, but think of your freaking kids. I was disgusted when she ran after the boyfriend other than comforting her poor little boy. But as bad as I felt for the girls, they did deserve their time. I just found it sad that the judge saw it fit to separate them. They were all each other ever had, but I guess he figured that was the best way to punish them :(
It's largely fabricated. Yes she was an alcoholic, but they didn't kill her because they were pushed to their limits. They did it so they could go on a trip to Europe and buy a house.
Also the mom wasn't unemployed. She was working double shifts as an X ray technologist.
Also also, they had a brother that isn't shown in this movie.
@@videohistory722 you missed one part they were pushed to their limit but more so because they’re mom failed to provide basic necessities but also they TRIED reporting the abuse to the childrens society but they didn’t take them seriously and the mother was unemployed,
She's a murderer, and she wants to go to law school.
I find that funny as hell.
In the end it says since they where minors their identity is protected so nobody other than the people they told knew so as far as the school know she is a normal girl unless it say they went to prison on the record which it probably wasn't
my husband said the same thing lol
kennalee whitley it most likely wont considering they were minors so they tend to get no official record...
Yeah, like good luck getting into law school with a felony on your record.
kennalee whitley their identity's are protected form the media. They both still have a record, and identification in their countries like we have social security numbers here in the US. Law schools, and any school does a background check, and I'm pretty sure that a felony like murder never leaves your record.
I just realized that that's Lucy from Narnia
No wonder she looked so familiar
Gracie G sameeee
I cry every time at this scene. I can't stop crying .
for me this is the saddest and the best ending of a film, at least in this year
Little Miss Sunshine & Narnia
Every time I watch this scene It just breaks my heart...T.T..Its so touching!
They shouldn't have been separated! And This scene was definitely amazing! To think that it was Improvised.
Being taken for someone you love is a fate worse than death.
Jairon Durham i agree.
They even miss their brother bobby
I rewatched this scene a bijillion times. Georgie Henley's acting was astounding. It really put me into the movie to know that the real Beth Anderson was my age-15 when she did this to her mother. I love this movie, and I wish everyone in the world could watch it. :)
I still remember when this all went down. The sisters, beth and Sandra, actually live 3 blocks from where I lived and went to the same high school as me before this shit went down
This is one of the saddest movies i have ever watch, really, the feels, everything, the worst thing is that is based on a true story.
I cry a lot in this scene, beautiful movie, so sad
*This is so sad. This was based on true events and they will never be the same and I just hope they are living better lives*
I hope those monsters will never get happy in any way because they don't deserve anything!
@@grinsekatzenkanal224 they’re not monsters. It was self defense. Cry about it.
@@beeisnotfound7282 No, it wasn't.
@@grinsekatzenkanal224 it was
@@beeisnotfound7282 It's okay that you are stupid as fuck.
Bro this is the best ending ever I literally cried how someone can't see their closest sister ever for ten years
This was the saddest thing ever. I remember first seeing this movie I cried my eyes out. Like you understood the sisters and they were broken. But so was the mom. It is just extremely sad all around.
I cried so much at this scene
I cried so much during this movie.
It's really weird how much I love this movie. I think the acting was great. And I had never heard of the story or anything until I watched. So then I did my research as I do with all movies that I love that are true stories and it really saddens me that we'll never be able to know the true identities of any of the people involved because they were all minors. And it also baffles me that they got into college ! Lol
Of course they got into college it was a one time offense and they did it out of desperation to get away from an alcoholic mother who was letting her boyfriends hurt them. IN my opinion their mother got what she fucking deserved.
I hope you never have children. Honestly was it the right thing to do? No, but if you're honestly saying that in that situation you wouldn't have reacted the exact same way you're full of it. The system wasn't helping them and refused to help them, no one was listening and they gave their mother plenty of chances. I don't see how it would matter if i was a mother, and the fact that I'm not but I think that woman got what she deserves doesn't mean I shouldn't have children at all. I'm not going to be like that piece of shit, I'm going to love my children and not let my boyfriends fucking put their hands on them when I have children. She should not have been allowed to have her children and they got desperate. You're reaction just shows me that if something like that happened to anyone in your life you'd be that person not helping the kids out and just ignoring it. Like their aunt did. So have fun with that. Whose the bitch really?
Shawna Jackson You need Jesus honey. The way you are talking! Killing someone is not the way to deal with this situation. There were other ways that didn't involve murder. If anything, they could have run away as a last resort. Murder is a sin period. Most sane people would not kill someone in that situation. I hear of way worse situations than that without people killing anyone.
I think that bitch got what she deserved it they had run they maybe could have taken care of themselves but they'd leave their mother in a shitty situation and they would never be able to take care if their brother either. I don't "need Jesus" because I have an opinion. I'm not fucking stupid I know murder is wrong and they paid the price but that woman deserved what she got. You bring children into this world and you should protect them not let men beat and touch them and then ignore it all
Shawna Jackson NOBODY DESERVES MURDER. AND YES YOU NEED JESUS CHRIST BECAUSE YOU HAVE SINNED AND FALLEN SHORT OF GODS GLORY. EVER TOLD A LIE? EVER STOLEN ANYTHING? EVER CALLED SOMEONA BAD NAME? YES YOU HAVE. THEREOFRE YOU HAVE SINNED AND HAVE GODS WRATH ON YOUR HEAD. THE ONLY WAY TO BE FORGIVEN IS BY BELIEVING IN JESUS CHRIST AND REPENTING OF YOUR SIN. I HOPE YOU FIND THE TRUTH BEFORE YOU DIE. HELL IS REAL.
I watched this movie like 3 times in onw week it was so fascinating to me, the acting is incredible and really makes you feel for the girls whilst still cementing that this did really happen and a woman in need lost her life :(
THIS MADE ME CRY SO HARD 😭😭😭
Their tears don't lie, they really cared for each other and hated being separated. Despite killing their mother they deserved to still be together
Jairon Durham not really.
i cried so hard at this scene. really truly heartbreaking scene.
Me and my sister watched this together and cried like babies 😭
if this happened to me and my sisters we would be way worse and I would like bust through the chains or i would not let go for anything.
Same!
+Dex Wishes this happens to me and my sister and we didn't let go 💯

I still cry everytime I watch this movie
I always cry in this scene :'(
Me 2 😔😓
This movie was heartbreaking 💔 i literally shed tears
I cried so much during this scene. 😭🖤
this ending was so sad. When that judge sentenced them 10 years in jail separated from one another i couldn't stop crying. they were all each other had.
This scene was so heart breaking i.didn't cry i stayed strong threw the whole movie i have to say it was great from start to finish great job filming
Loved this movie. The ending is so sad tho...
This scene made me close to my sister, because me and her are tighter than ever and we've been through everything like them two!! When I saw the movie it reminded me of me and my sister and brother!! I never want me and my sister to be separated, she is my life ❤😂✌💪
No cap this made me cry
One of those sad situations where you wish they didn't do it but sort of understand WHY they did it even though it was completely wrong.
IM CRYING!! i love this scene so much!
Omg this is makes me crying so much..what happened to the real sisters then??
+coraline jonas it says towards the end of the video in text
Same! bascially their in universities and are striving to success or that's what I like to think!
+Dex Wishes your right

Brooke Cantu I guess?
This ending made me cry and I never cry I'm like wtf why now

Same
I can watch this movie 1000x literally & love the last song 😩😊
I always cry while watching this scene.😞😩
this is very intense.... never doubt the love of a sister …
0:06 Really sadness and cry :(
The ending made me cry so hard and it makes me think of all the things that has happened to me in my life and I thank God that I'm still here on this earth and this movie is so sad
my god how could you watch a movie so powerful and not cry
honestly the situation is so tough like i feel bad for them because all they wanted was happiness and to be together, not knowing the circumstances of their actions obviously they would eventually be separated, but then like that's still their mom, awful or not she's their mom it's a tough one
The fact that she was their mother just makes this all the more tragic
That was the saddest movie in my life
This part of the movie is my favourite because of the feels it gives! I feel so bad for them...I hope their happy now!
I watched this like 5 times and I still cried😢😢😢😭
every time i see this ending it give me the chills the movie was outstanding it had amazing acting and i really love georgie she is so pretty i cant xD but great movie 10/10 ;D
Honestly one of the saddest endings I’d ever seen! If it was improvised kudos to those young actors because it worked…. 💔😫😢
this movie is amazing . (:
can't get enough of it ahh . 👌
this literally breaks me
I feel Sad for those two. Georgie Henley as Beth and Abigail Breslin as Sandra. This is just really Tragic :(
I hope I wasn't the only one but I cried my eyes out. Seeing say goodbye killed me
i love this movie i watched it again today with a friend and by the end we were both in tears
Just wanted to remind everyone watching this that this movie does not show how cold and calculating these girls actually were. A quote from an article in which the journalist who covered their trial says:
"The main reason for the murder was their mother’s insurance policy, Mitchell said. He recalled the day in court when autopsy photos were displayed and the sisters were giggling.
Much more planning went into the murder than the film shows, Mitchell said. And one of the girls’ biggest concerns in the immediate aftermath was that they wouldn’t be able to party for a few weeks because they had to seem sad, he said."
Michelle Woah, Really?
so what the fucking movie is saying tho ?
Wow, this made it into my top 25 favorite movies. It's pretty twisted. I wasn't expecting them to kill their mom. I watched it on Netflix and I read the description as "Two sisters try to uncover their mother's murder and when they tell their friends everything changes" or something like that, but it really said "Two sisters try to cover up their mother's murder... etc" and I was like "lolwut" halfway through the movie. Oh well, amazing movie, amazing acting, bittersweet ending even though they're getting what they deserved. RIP Momma Anderson.
the part that really sent shivers down my spine and upset me was when the judge said they couldn't have contact at all for the next 10 years, I started balling uncontrollably. I love my sister to death and if I couldn't see her for a decade, I don't know what I'd do.
The songs great and the first time I watched the ending I cried and usually when I hear the song I cry but they screams in the song really get me
I think its stupid that they made two sisters who were so close be seperated, i mean, despite what they did... they deserve to see eachother!
thats not true, they actually did get to see each other. the director did that for entertainment.
I agree. The true story had a different version of events, but going by the events in the films I think they needed to have contact. Bear in mind that they were clearly unstable, if they were to stand any chance of being "reformed" I think they both needed the person they relied on most in the world.. Each other. How can a person be reformed if they're completely alone? All these girls had was each other.
No
no that the girls punishment they knows it will eat them alive if they can't each see other for 10 year . to them that the worst than going to jail
They deserve even worse for what they did. Stop saying aww poor thing TO KILLERS
in my opinion it was very cruel to separate those girls, ithink they did deserved go to jail but they didn't deserve to be separated, that's cruel!!!!
Agree
They killed their mother. Was that not cruel? Interviews with judges and police involved in this case say that they were cold blooded killers. Most likely one was a sociopath and the other a psychopath, which is why they didn't want to be separated, but they deserved it.
In real life, they definitely did. But not in the movie. The girls in the movie were good girls
exactly at least let them be in a cell together to make them feel comfortable
Are you stupid?! They murdered their own mother!
They really played this part 2 of my favorite actresses they killed it 🥰🔥🔥🔥🙌🙌🙌
this acting is phenomenal like this is award winning acting i could actually feel their emotions i could literally feel everything the pain they were going through which made me realize this wasn’t real i thought it was real for a second because of how amazing this acting is
I don't have a sister but I would cry/die if I didn't have my brothers!
The fact that their friends turned against them and threw them under the bus and they ended up being split up and never seen again its beyond sad and heartbreaking! They killed their mom because their mom was a shitty mom! I felt so sad and this movie was good but sad and in the end! They shouldn't have not gone to jail and their mom was a drug user and had boyfriends who used them too! The story of them is sad and they are on deadly women!
Angel Simone the real story is, these girls were cold-killers who killed their mom, not because she’s was a bad mom, but because they wanted her money. It was good that their friends turned on them because they were killers. Their mom worked two jobs to help her family.
This made cry so sad
shitty part is their own so-called “friends” sold them down the river, they had no problem being apart of it all instead of being good friends & trying to talk them out of it they went along & when shit reigned down on them they were quick to sell the sisters out. those arent real friends at all 💯
Damn it, Number Five!
