The Desk on Hancock Hill - Sul Ross University, Alpine, TX

Several decades ago, a desk was dragged to the top of a hill in Alpine that overlooks the surrounding countryside. The notebooks stashed inside continue to record thoughts from the people who travel there. The hike to get there is a easy out and back about 2.5 miles and 300 ft of elevation gain. Go up the hill and bear to the right when you get to the top.
