Funny how the Republicans have been telling us for months that Biden isn’t mentally in good state of mind. Now we finally realize it 4 months before the election.
We have criticized Trump for not stepping down gracefully at the end of the 2020 election, now we are doing it with our own candidate.
As a party, we are disintegrating and are soon going to be the laughing stock of the world. It is scary, since we don’t know how qualified Newsom or Harris are.

As a nurse I have an uncommon clinical specialty, geriatric psychiatry. I know that if Biden does have Parkinson's it's his medication causing those episodes. The medication for Parkinson's causes a special type of side effect called "parkinsonian". Look it up. It raises dopamine in the body and when this is raised in other occurrences it means people have schizophrenia, or bipolar, but it's raised when people become psychotic. If they lower the dose too much he can't walk, but always ride the line of "almost too much" to maximize being able to use his muscles. Look up L dopa, psychosis and Parkinson's disease. The medication makes you crazy. That's why they are hiding it. He's having brief periods of medication induced psychosis and that's why it seems to clear up the next day. They simply titrate the dose lower.

I work in a financial institution in a small town. The issue is lack of financial education and discipline. I watch people do dumb things with their money all day long. They don’t invest because of fear they will lose it. So they leave it in a low paying checking account while smart people put $50 or $100 a month into an index mutual fund. Then in 40 years the checking account people have nothing and the investors have a million in a ROTH. This isn’t republicans or democrats. This is basic financial education 101.

Douglas, who held a fundraiser for Biden in April, expressed sympathy for the president, praising his decades in office, but he also said he’s “concerned” following his performance at last month’s CNN debate with Donald Trump. Subsequent interviews by Biden have only led for further calls for him to step down.
One of the voices on the left to add themselves to the chorus of those voices on Wednesday is George Clooney, also a big supporter and activist for Democrats. Clooney published an op-ed on Wednesday calling for Biden to be replaced for November’s election, echoing a point made by numerous other Democrats, including strategist James Carville and filmmaker Michael Moore.

All these people that want to sit at home because of the President will be sitting at home on local/state too, and that is not Biden’s fault but the fault of those that aren’t voting, don’t believe in voting, and those who aren’t encouraging those uncertain voters to vote for what they hear them complain about. The problem with economics is that there is not one single calculation on the economy that accurately portrays individuals and families. It's all about business. When economic measures are calculated for the individual (e.g., employment), economists deliberately skew the results by REMOVING the total people who "gave up looking" for a job. This system has failed us. Businesses, lobbyists, and the ultra-wealthy are not only responsible, but they are completely UNamerican for doing this to us.

This discussion of the financial situation of everyday Americans changing over time and then contributing to division is a bit scattered and missing the key bits of information that the American People should have: WHY and HOW did we get here? This horrendous gap between the stock market growth and everyday American wages was not always the case. So, when did it start and what were specific policies that led to the worsening and improvement of the financial health of everyday Americans? For instance, college education used to be much cheaper because colleges charged less and States subsidized more. When were wages better? Could it be when effective collective bargaining was more prevalent, the minimum wage was higher, and worker protections were stronger? Could it be when the tax code actually taxed the wealthiest among us much higher (and yet the wealthy's everyday lives were unchanged)? When we were less polarized, could it be before the loss of local newspapers, 24-hour cable news, and "The Longest Grift" (read Joe Conason's book on how influential members of the "conservative" movement used fear/hate/scapegoating to convince people to send them money)? The ruining of the American middle class was INTENTIONAL. Those who starved and destroyed what little social safety net we had and then blamed everyone else but the actual perpetrators did this on purpose, because desperate people have little bandwidth to stay informed and push back against the powerful. Desperate people are easier to control. So, View, inoculate your audience against the con-artists and anti-democracy forces by pointing out the long-practiced ways anti-democratic forces make people turn against their neighbors and fall for "charismatic" dictators. And then look to the UK and to a less degree France for how we reject these people who want to send us backward into feudal times.

Actor Michael Douglas, a longtime supporter of Joe Biden who hosted a Hollywood fundraiser for the president in April, said on The View today that he is “deeply, deeply concerned” about Biden’s prospects in light of the recent debate.
Asked to comment on George Clooney‘s New York Times op-ed calling for Biden to step aside, Douglas said, “I think it’s a valid point. I’m deeply, deeply concerned. I mean, especially it’s difficult because the Democrats have a big bench, they’ve got a lot of heavy hitters, a lot of talent. And I do worry because with the debate…I mean, it was relatively simple: First of all, they should have just told the president to stand up, put a little make up on for the debate and then where to look, and just don’t deal with all of your facts - just deal with [Trump’s] lies.”

I honestly wish The View could become a hot topics show exclusively because it practically is anyway and the main reason why people tune in, to watch that first 15 minutes of real talk about what's really going on, let's face it. People aren't there for the celebrity interviews (snore) or View Your Deal (cringe). The View needs to be treated like any of these TV shows that the networks give big budgets to. They have more viewers than the airing of the first episode of this season's Bachelorette, yeah they are still forced in this old outdated pay-to-play model when these ladies are the only people in America right now putting it on the table and speaking truth. They all deserve a raise and we need to make hot topics be the entire focus of the show from here on out. Full stop. And only bring on celebrities like Michael Douglas year that have the courage to actually speak their mind and speak directly to the times and what people actually care about. Who's with me?
