She probably doesn't measure her petals. I wouldn't think they would need to be any "specific" size. I make handmade paper flowers and I don't make any one the same size. Just cut the paper whatever size you want for the inside petals and make the outer layers larger...Trial and Error and you end up with a unique flower not something that looks perfectly made...
People, buy real peonies take them apart, petal by petal and use them as a guide for shape, size etc. This video is gorgeous , but way too advanced for beginners. It shows a lot of skill, but not designed to teach the basics or even intermediate level of flower making. Thanks for sharing though, it is highly inspiring!😀 So I got inspired by this work of art that I found an excellent video called crepe paper peony by ash and crafts , who actually wish to teach people step by step, not just show off to get compliments 😀
I have to disagree... this is not a video for advanced paper flower crafters, only. Although she doesn't show the measurements, one could guesstimate the petal sizes. I've followed detailed tutorials to a T, and created some real crap that looked nothing like what i saw in the tutorial. The best way to get better is to keep making crepe paper flowers. One shouldn't limit themselves to tutorials with details only. ☺ The tutorial you mentioned by ash and crafts has a completely different look than what's created here. ☺
I so wanted to compliment you on this flower because it is the most pretty one I have seen but your refusal to answer so many of your followers is puzzling. WE want the size of each paper piece, how many you cut of each size and colour. Please honour your craft followers by supplying this or at least tell us where we can get this information from. We are still waiting.
