I always thought it was more so that Nocturne is specifically the demon of paranoia. He also feeds on shame and insecurity. While fiddle feeds on anything and everything resulting in fear. Including paranoia. So while nocturne could say to nunu for example, “ it was your fault she died” regarding his mother’s death, fiddle outright just causes nunu to experience the moment she dies. I’m also pretty sure nocturne only haunts humans while fiddle is known and feared by everything.

That's what I missed with the other characters. I mean the whole idea is that Nocturne is a force of pure terror and here the champs are like, nah and that's it. Riven and Lulu are the only ones really being affected by it.
I think it's because Lulu is the only one among these that hasn't dealt with her fear in some way (except Trundle and Zoe). Shyvana has faith in Jarvan, Riven tried to atone (although she still hasn't forgiven herself, which is why she's still affected), Aurelion has a plan to become free and probably sees Nocturne as something much beneath him, Leona has blind faith in the sun, Taric climbed a mountain to atone, and so on.
Makes sense to me, not because of some over complicated reason but because she basically never really grew up, if I remember her lore correctly. Makes sense to me a child would more easily take mean words pointing towards their fear to heart.

I think this was said in another channel's comments section on their video on Nocturne's voice lines, but the Trundle one regarding his Ice Club melting is more symbolic than literal; Trundle's Club is a True Ice Club, and as such will never melt under normal circumstances. However, Trundle's confidence comes from the fact he can wield it, therefore making him strong. His fear is, as result, that his strength will fail him.
I like how most the champions reply with denial rather than witty banter, because obviously when you're confronted with your inner anxieties you probably wouldn't be in the right mind to say something witty

That'd be an interesting way to update Nocturne in game to separate him from Fiddlesticks in terms of fear. Have shadow creatures incorporated into his kit. Maybe when he ults he gets a shadow creature attacking his target for every large minion or large monster he's killed.
Heres an idea. When he ults. Every enemy gets a nocturne shadow clone next to them to be even spookier when he pops out of one of them. Unless it smells too much of zeds shadow swap

Fiddle just copy the voices of people to instill more fear to people then kill them, he just uses traumas in his voicelines because it still cause fear thats what we hear in-game.

As what I know Fiddlesticks, the Demon of Fear, feeds on fear and everything that has anysort of connections with it like traumas because in the lore of the demons in Runeterra Fear is the maker or like the Origin of every Demon's Embodiment. Fiddle just copy the voices of people to instill more fear to people then kill them, he just uses traumas in his voicelines because it still cause fear thats what we hear in-game.
I mean when youre roughly as old as the concepts of creation(asol) and change(twilight), im pretty sure that just means you get to have domain over a concept as a whole.
I mean look at nocturne trying to taunt people unsuccesfully with insecurities, doesnt even always work, like shit i get Asol and Zoe as theyre old as it's great grandaddy, but trundle?? Gawd damn.
