Hello, Im a medical student from Pakistan appearing for my step 1 this month. I really liked your video and the emphasis on integration. Please keep doing more!!
Can I comment on how amazing this review was ! honestly you did a great job with the integration of the concepts . It would be so so great to see a review like this for Genetics and Farm ( I know most of us struggle with these 2)
I wish I have found this ealier, not 3 days before my STEP! You speak MEDICINE, Rahul! I'm definetely in with you for my STEP 2 prep! I'm your fan from now and on!
@@akhilraaj No it's type 4. Every article and medical literature says type 4. Type 1 is completely different. I'm talking specifically about "Allergic Interstitial Nephritis", it was thought to be type 1, but allergy is a misnomer now.
If I watch your videos will it overestimate my NBME results?? like do you discuss actual NBME questions like Mehlman or just the HY concepts for NBME?? Can anybody help me with your knowledge about this channels videos??? It will be of great help ❤
Hi, thanks for your inquiry. I do not discuss the exact same question to maintain the integrity of the exam & validity of assessment. I discuss the more relevant concepts which are fit for assessment & well suited for integration of other domains. Best wishes for studying!
thanks for replying .. i was in dilemma for this reason as Mehlman's videos are from direct NBME & i haven't took any NBME yet so was badly in need of a channel like yours where HY concepts or topics are being discussed@@hyguruprep
Yes!! Absolutely. Can’t wait to get it started. Just getting married/transitioning to an attending position so as soon as I get settled within the next few weeks I’ll be releasing webinars!
I can't believe I didnt watch these videos sooner, you're truly the only one thats teaching this from a boards perspective focused on integration and understanding. Rather than rote memorization. I've always believed that when you focus primarily on understanding then rote memorization becomes unnecessary, and this is proof of that fact
@@lucyalvarez1288 Hi Lucy, I passed! The videos helped in calming my anxiety down and served as a checklist for the must knows. Would definitely recommend. Good luck you got this!!
@@riyashah.1 yay! Thats awesome! Thank you, I will be reviewing with his videos too. Im considering paying thevmembership (i think its $199) for the 6hr pharm review. Im still getting 55 on uworld on average😔. Thank you again and God Bless!
AWESOME!!!!! LOVED IT!! MADE FIRST-AID READING EASIER AND BETTER!!! Thank you so much for these free RUclips videos!! Keep helping us! God bless you with success and a healthy life ahead! :)
Wow, amazing video thanks so much for putting together these extremely helpful reviews!! I also saw you had posted a renal review doc on reddit a few years back that I thought was super helpful. Do you happen to have similar ones for the other systems?
These videos are soooo good. I wish I had found them sooner, but I think these will help me get out of the low pass range and more into a solid pass for my next practice test! 🤞
Amazing video Rahul, really found it insightful! Just one point which I noticed at 31:45, you mention dysmorphic RBC's in light of ureteric epithelial damage, isn't it a marker for glomerular damage? I've classically been reading that, could you shed some light on this Rahul?
Hey Neil, thanks so much for your love and feedback! When you have casts you know that you are dealing with a pathology in which RBCs conform to the tubules. When you have a stone and an RBC tries to go past it in the ureter, it shears. Remember this is NOT in the tubules of the nephron, this is in the ureter. Think of it as a shishtocyte of your pee 🤣 happy studying!
@@hyguruprep Ah this makes perfect sense. Thank you for your help Rahul, the schistocyte in the pee analogy 🫡. Edit: Of many USMLE tutors/lecturers I've had the luxury to view, your approach and the way you enunciate important points really hit home.
I cried after watching this video Rahul , it was so beautifully taught . thank you
Just read this comment again - so inspiring to me!
Me too!! You indeed have a gift. Keep using it!!!

Rahul, thanks for amazing video. Is there any chance you could upload NBME biostats/behavioral concepts?
Thank you Dr. For another NBME video series .
The last question at 1:20, the answer should be D, as Allergic Interstitial Nephritis is type 4 hypersensitivity reaction.
Both type 1 and 4 hsr seen, u can refer Robbins pathology
