- Without the extensive free care from Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, a little girl would not be walking. To show her thanks, the 7-year-old set out to raise $8,000 for the hospital. She didn't just meet her goal...she blew it out of the park.

My 7 yr old son was just discharged from a childrens hospital in FL so this really touches my heart. This little girl is so amazing! And the person who anonymously sent the $50,000 check is so kind and generous. Children's hospitals are the best hospitals there are, with the best staffs so I'm happy that this happened for one. Great story!!!❤

hospital. some kids hate going to the doctor but I love it I've been going there since I was 4 I'm 12 now and I still love it
Eyyy! hows your arthritis? At the age of 2 my parents found me crying not able to move because I had Juvenile Rheumatoid arthritis, they went to multiple doctors who could not figure out what was happening, eventually we heard about TSCRH and they gave me steroids and the medication and the visits were free. Eventually I got it again at the age of 4 and was a beta tester for anakinra and I've been in remission ever since

I would have used all that money up for University rather than giving it away for free. You need a really big heart to be as generous as that girl which I do not have.
If it wasn't for what those people invovled did, her life could be completely different; She was trying to help them just as they helped her.
She has helped the hospital a lot and I salute and respect her for having a heart of gold. I understand that if they were not there to help her maybe she would have never walked in her life and to repay this favour she did all this. All I am saying is I would just not be able to do what she has done and would have used all that money to pay for University.
