The sail away party was kind of bad. I guess with the cruise only being at 50%, not that many people wanted to attend the party. We took the Mardi Gras in the end of June and the lido deck area was packed for the sail away party. It's going to be quite a difference when we take the Spirit next July.
Yes, the vibe was sooo different than a Caribbean cruise. Super mellow, laid back. Even the dinners in the MDR were pretty casual (except our 2 elegant nights). We felt like we barely saw anyone the first few days of the cruise. The sail away party was pretty lame, lol! They only did 1 group dance unfortunately.
Love the vlogs! We are going August 10 on Carnival Spirit. Thank you for showing the bus to cruise pier. Question - where do you put your luggage on the bus? Can you sit close to it? Thanks again!
Thank you so much! We rolled all our luggage onto the public bus (there’s a ramp). Thankfully the bus wasn’t packed since we took up a lot of space, LOL. Hope you guys have a blast! 🤗
@@barrettosontheloose - so did you just put your luggage on seats next to you? I want to take the bus because our hotel is just 3.5 miles to the pier and I want to save money. :) I figured if you guys could do it with the baby and all your luggage we could too 😉
@@hopatrol-jk Totally! LOL! It stayed on the floor in front of the seat as well as on the seat. We held it with our feet or hands when the bus would brake. We also downloaded the Seattle public bus app and purchased our tickets through the app.
We did it! We took the bus to the cruise port. Your vlog was helpful. :) we also took the lite rail downtown from the airport when we arrived. Between the two we saved about $100 in uber or lift
That is amazing!!! So glad we could help!! We also took the light rail from airport to the stop closest to our hotel, then had like a 7-min walk. Huge savings!!
