Fun Fact: this was performed on the same recital after the BWV 876 Prelude and Fugue on March 30, 2024, my lovely Colburn teacher’s birthday. I like to remember this recital as the “Birthday Performance” since two birthdays were celebrated that day! 😆 Thank you for listening! 🎶
Good Morning from Poland... Country of Frederic Chopin. I would love to be a piano only to have the privilege of being seen, attracted, touched, possessed and caressed by the hands of Lillian Feng. She plays the piano with his soul, sensitivity and fragility at the same time. Seing him at here was one of a lifetime experience. Thank You, Lillian...
@@LillianFeng It's a wonderful moment for me, Dear Lillian, that You wrote back to me. I am still deeply impressed by Your interpretation of Chopin's works. Why haven't I seen you yet at the Chopin Competition in Warsaw ? To me, You are already a Laureate ! 🙂. Thank You once again, Lillian, for the experiences You have given me..
This is Incredible, like its extremely easy to get lost in thought listening to this music, especially the doppio section, i think ur interpretation is amazing. I also just finished learning this piece just a few days ago, and im working on shaping that doppio section as well, so interesting to hear all the variations of it. Amazing job
WOW Lillian this is so beautiful! I got this recommended randomly and got to say I am a little jealous! When I was 17 I was not so determined to follow a hobby like playing the piano and found only now 10 years later that classical music is really calming me down and helping me to relax and started to dance ballet and play a little piano myself. You are really talented and inspiring and I know some days are hard but do not quit! Just remember yourself that even a random person from Germany like me is listening to this and is supporting you! All the love from Germany
Dear Alicia, thank you so much for your beautiful kind words! What a coincidence that your encouragement was exactly what I needed to hear today…🥹 I am also very happy to learn about your story, I hope you continue to enjoy such graceful art forms of ballet and piano for many years. Truly inspiring that we can connect across borders and support each other’s journeys through this platform. Wishing you all joy, peace and love from the United States ✨✨
