I knew I saw you last Wednesday at the farmers market. At first I thought you were taking a preschool on a trip because the children were walking single file but holding hands sideways. It was so cute but a very crowded place. You made my day. Thank you.
Thanks for naming the stores, since the video creator didn't. I couldn't figure out why it was such a secret to name them Store 1,2,3 & 4. I don't think a stores name should be a secret unless they have something to hide...whether it be the store itself or the shopper of those stores. Too bad we don't have these type of bulk stores in the deep south of Mississippi. I'm not a fan of Azure or high prices and still have to help unload trucks after I've driven 100 miles (give/take). I don't shop at paid membership stores either.
Wow! I would love to shop there! Wish we had stores like that here where I live. You got such great deals!? I loved going shopping with you! Your children are so well mannered!! You are a wonderful mama
I love these kinds of videos. I hope you do more grocery hauls in the future. Be blessed Adaline. So good to see the girls again. Tell Cory we send blessings to him as well.
So I'm a sleuthing extraordinaire 😊...here are the places: - "Store 1": Whispering Pines Fruit Farm, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853 - "Store 2": L&L Marketplace, Middleburg, PA 17842 - "Store 3": Wenger's Discount Grocery Outlet, Mifflinburg, PA 17844 - "Store 4": Davy's Fresh Market, Lewisburg, PA 17837 I'm not sure about the farmer's market where they stopped for lunch though.
This warms my heart. I worked in mid-central to western PA for years and loved to stop by the Amish stores and markets . The petunias were the best in spring :)
Thank you for this example. I FINALLY found some stores like this near me in Northern KY, so tomorrow (if I can find any open on a sunday), and Tuesday I'll check them out. Thanks for the idea!
Shopping for bulk food will also be very helpful since you live out in the country. I grew up in a town that was 2 hours from a Walmart and we would go once a month to get stuff.
I would love to know more about your organization. How do you keep track of what you need to get at the bulk stores? Do you make a list? Love the videos!
We have a discount store in our Amish area in MO but much of it is out of date already and that's why it's cheap. Your stuff doesn't look outdated though. So awesome!!
I just found your channel and I’m so excited to find out your from central PA (I live in south central PA) thank you so so much for your content. As a SAHM that loves the simple life😅 thank you thank you for all of your teaching and what you can share with us❣️
Yeah the farmers market was always great when i was younger. My favorite is the sausage stand. I miss country cupboard they had the best cinnamon rolls.
Wow! You really got some good deals especially on the cold cuts! That’s awesome and unheard of where we live! Love this video! Your little girls are so cute! God bless!
So funny this video just came up on my feed and I was like that looks just like whispering pines! ( my favorite store, we have so much fun there🤣) I am local with 4 kiddos of my own🥰 great video!
Tillamook is a premium dairy brand from north Oregon. I live in Washington, my husband is from Oregon. I buy Tillamook over other brands. Their sour cream has live cultures. I highly recommend Tillamook brand dairy products.
I wish we had these kind of stores here in Sweden! Would love stocking up on good deals and meal prep. Anyways, your beautiful girls have gotten so big! Love to see you all flourish and do well.
@@AdalineZook It’s my pleasure! I know you work so hard on your channel and being a mom is a full time job itself, so I just have to say something ❤️❤️
That was exciting for me to watch 🤣 my mother in law lives right behind that first store! My kids love walking down for whoopie pies when we visit. They love the candy isle at the next store. Your video made my day, thank you!
I just found your videos and was hooked right away. We live in Western Pennsylvania but travel to central PA several times a year and have been to a bulk store. Love seeing your children in your videos. They are all beautiful girls. Thanks for sharing your lifestyle. It is inspiring
It looks like a bulk Mennonite store. But I am not sure. She has a list in her description box but it would be nice to know which store it is as she films.
Thanks for sharing the names of these stores. I shop at a few bulk stores in the Lancaster area since we travel through a few times a year. We stay in Ronks for 10 days in August. It's only an hour and a half to several of these so we might try them out to bring some goodies back to Mass. It's amazing how cheap some of the stores are. Thanks for sharing
Someone may have mentioned this already. In Shipshewana, IN there is a store like this called E&S Sales. Also, when my kids were home I bought a lot of bulk foods and cases through a neighborhood food co-op through United Natural Foods. We had the semi roll into a church parking lot and we unloaded it!
E&S has gotten so pricey. The smaller ones and Forks have much better prices in the Shipshewana/Middlebury area. I've lived about 15 miles from there for 60 years. When my boys were young it was definitely worth the trip.
Thank you that was really interesting! We live in Lancaster County so we have some similar stores but those were really amazing! I hope you share some videos that include the recipes you mentioned in the video. I would really enjoy that! Thank you!
We live in Southern Central Missouri. Near Amish and Mennonite country. We love our discount stores. Recently they had a 50 lb bag of sugar on sale for 29.99.
Love the bulk store. I live in NJ and visit Lancaster in November every year. Love the bulk store. But what are the other stores you visited? Not the Whispering pine one.
Great video. I live in Georgia we don’t have those types of grocery stores here Aldi is where I go for discount grocery’s and I know u may think it’s a joke but it’s not. I wish we had bulk gorcery stores here and if someone brought one here and opened it I know it would be a super popular grocery store.
Great Video! I used to go to Lititz, Bird in Hand and Intercourse a lot to buy from local people and go to SKH. But these are new places I’ve never been to. Will you please add someplace all the names of these great places.
What a lot of great deals! You’re a pro at this by now:) We have these kind of stores in my area, but they are much smaller and the deals aren’t as good. The farmers market looked like such a fun place!
Yeah not going to happen. lol There’s a RUclipsr who used to shop at discount bulk stores all the time in North Carolina but then she moved to Florida and needless to say there are no more discount bulk grocery shopping videos on her channel because they just don’t exist in Florida.
I miss these stores in PA. I lived in the Selinsgrove area, and we would go to Wangers in Mifflinburg and another store in Mount Pleasent Mills called Whispering Pines. We used to go to the Surplus outlet as well. All these stores were owned by the Mennonites. I enjoyed them thoroughly. ❤
Ohh awesome! About how far is this from Lancaster / Amish country area ? I’m in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia but we frequently vacation there❤ it’s my happy place lol
There are multiple shops like this near where I live in South Australia, so there are shops like this in Australia, just probably not in rural areas. I grew up in a small country town with one supermarket, rural areas rarely have much of anything. Visit a middle eastern or Asian grocery next time you go to the city in your state, they often sell bulk food cheap.
HI! Your video just popped up out of the blue and your name caught my attention. I was a Zook (my dad was from Belleville). My husband and I lived in Lancaster County and moved to Mifflin about 3 years ago. I recognized Whispering Pines and L & L. I was at both of those store last week.
We’re heading to central PA in a couple weeks for a mini vacation. Definitely bringing a cooler and hoping to score some deals to take back home with me.
Which store has the bulk pasta that big? I would love to know. I visit Davy's. I have not visited Whispering Pines yet. I would like the other store names if you could provide. Thanks.
We still have the old pressure cooker my Mom bought back in the fifties to make popcorn on the stove. We dont tighten the lid or anything, but its big enough for a nice big batch of popcorn.😂 Wish i lived down there. Butter here is $6.99, and that same bag of potatoes is $4.99. I'm waaay up north, so our grow season is very short, and produce is wicked high, too! We used to travel near there years ago to buy a side of beef when we had a bigger freezer. I'm thinking its time to buy another freezer and make a road trip back down there again. I can do my geneology while there, since some ancestors were from around there, too.

Nice!! The pastry flour is just a finer texture I believe and works great with cakes and baked goods
If I'm not mistaken, pastry flour has lower protein.
Higher protein in a pastry recipe will make the dough "tougher" and not as light.
