Yes, the tattoos are real. And actually RM just posted a pic of the number 7 on his ankle so BTS might've gotten matching tattoos together. Jungkook has had tattoos for a couple years now his hand tattoos and he has a whole sleeve and Jimin's has had tattoos for awhile too, but the one behind his ear says Youth and the crescent moon on the back of his neck were added recently. Jimin also has 13 on his wrist, Nevermind on his ribcage, and the words Young and Forever on the back of his arms. Some are speculating J-Hope will release Hope World 2 soon and he will perform songs from it at Lollapalooza. This music video references. The new album has 2 other brand new songs called Run BTS and For Youth.
i believe j-hope has a smiley face and a frowny face on his heels. Source: my detective skills. if you recall during the Life Goes On promotional photos we see someone's feet has tattoos of a smiley and frowny face. the member looks blurry from the perspective it was taken but we can see theyre wearing dark pants and a plaid shirt which is what J-hope wore in Life Goes On video. then again its possible theyre fake. i dont think so though since the skin looks at bit raised in the photos. its also in a discreet place where he wont feel the need to disclose that he has tattoos.
This whole video is full of references to their past music videos. The bus, the statue, the eye covering, the beginning when JK made a circle around his eye, the clothes they wore, the truck. Uhm. There's more, I just can't think of them right now. They are phenomenally talented.
And yes Jimin and Jungkooks tattoos are real. Jungkook had pretty much a whole sleeve.

The piano is perfect to represent yoongi, its his mark. But it also reminds me of the Wings album, the burning piano now surrounded by flowers and butterflies. I love that.
The film is filled with references to past mvs. Even the seating on the school bus along with J Hope giving Jimin a comforting touch at the end was from Spring Day.
Yes Jk's and Jimin's tats are real. Jk practically has a full sleeve on his right arm. I think the ocean sounds while they are in the desert is a nod to their song Sea as the lyrics talk about being in a desert trying to reach the sea. It's a very meaningful song and recommend a listen if you get a chance. The bus has significance because in their debut mv they arrive on a school bus. As they walk off we get our first introduction with their names. This new song is very nostalgic with many past mv references but I really appreciate they ended the mv where it all began. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

This atmosphere and mv is like flipping through an old photo album and discussing past memories. Love it.
they dropped an anthology album it has three new songs (Yet to come, RUN BTS and for youth) . It's basically a collection of their songs through the years from 2013 until now. The 3rd CD has demos of their old songs and 2 songs they never released. This is a great way for new fans to listen to bts' old music and new one. Bts also said this was a good way to close this chapter which they deemed as chapter 1, meaning they still have a lot of music coming in the future. Also yeah all their tattoos are real (jungkook and jimins)
It took me almost an hour to be able to get through this song (to be fair almost half that time was replaying J Hope's dancehall flow over and over again, while jumping up and down yelling brrap brrap!).
The other part I got stuck on was the lyric on V's part "but they say we're the best". It just made me realize once again how different BTS are, and why they are the first musicians at the age of 38, that I've ever stanned. The HUMILITY. While top artists these days coming out saying "I'm the best" (even when they aren't even close), and BTS says "THEY say we're the best"....and IT'S TRUE.
Everything....everything is a reference to their old MV's. The ocean sounds, colors, sets, gestures, poses, clothes, staging, movement, settings, props, set pieces, visuals, signage, graphics...butterfly, looks, choreography, and even the order in which they are sitting in white chairs and on the bus!! Everything. There are videos out there that show comparison shots. But I found one reference no one has identified yet.

At the end when they’re sitting on the bus, the places they are sitting is on purpose. It’s their exact positions on the train toward the end of “Spring Day” video.
And the MV is full of references. First of all, they are in a desert with the sound of the sea, referencing their song Sea, that's a hidden track from a previous album. Then JK's hand making the lunette (?) is from HYYH era; the way they are seating is the same formation from Just One Day, a song from their first album; then there are a lot of references to Spring Day MV (the carrousel, Jimin picking up the snickers, the train behind jhope), reference to DNA through Jin's clothes, reference to Boy in Luv with V's clothes (maybe), the fallen angel from Blood Sweat and Tears, the transition you thought was cool is also from BST, there is the piano where suga is on that references his first love (also HYYH era) and the scenario/flowers reminds me of Stay Gold, the bus in the end is from No More Dream, their debut album, the container that RM is in front of is from Run MV, and when they are inside the bus their positions are the same as when they are inside of the train in the Spring Day MV. ANYWAY, I probably let something pass, but there are A LOT of references

I’m glad you liked the song! Some people have been skeptical about this song, and saying it’s underwhelming. However, I really enjoy the song and the lightness of it - idk why but it reminds me a bit of their song Film Out, which I also love.
This song for me gives a similar vibe as their hyyh era, whereas their new song Run BTS reminds me of their debut era
It's an anthology album that consist of 3 cds so most of the songs have already been released in previous albums. CD 1 has all their title tracks from the beginning to the most recent which is yet to come. CD 2 has a solo song for each member and then another song they chose to include. CD 3 has a whole bunch of demos and those songs aren't available on any streaming platforms. But they did come out with 2 entirely new songs: run bts and for youth. People see BTS's video Spring Day as a tribute to the victims of the Sewol Ferry Tragedy. On April 16, 2014, the Sewol Ferry capsized and 305 people died, including 250 high school students who were on their junior year school trip. Watch the Spring Day video. And I think it's also a nod to the movie Snowpiercer. The train in this video, the guys' position on the bus, the emptiness of the bus ride their gestures, and the sound of the waves in the end will make more sense, as everything in this video references other BTS videos. There are lots of easter eggs throughout from the Spring Day video (Jimin's outfit, the carousel, etc) and other popular BTS videos including Blood, Sweat & Tears, Run and more.
it's funny how u said the bus is empty and yet they're all sitting next to each other, because that's legit how they are. There a maaaany moments of there being an an entire empty couch and them all piled up on another or they'll sit 2-3 to a chair when there's other seats available. that's just how they are their staff even jokingly/lovingly calls them "vegetable fritters" because they're always stuck together

I LOVE what you had to say about how smooth the transitions are between the rap and singing. Too often I feel like there are just two very different people having two very different conversations in the same song and it's hard to even create a storyline in my head that fits the context of both parts together. With BTS it's like each one brings you a new puzzle piece and by the end the whole picture they've created feels complete and satisfying on a much deeper level.
They are also calling back to their old music videos, storylines and past music.
Its funny you mentioned them sitting next to each other when the bus is half empty because its not just in mvs. You could have a room with 5 sofas and you'd still find them all together on 1 or 2. That's just how they are
The last scene is from spring day. The whole MV is about their old songs, their journey.

There 3 new songs: Yet to come, Run BTS and For Youth. 3 CDs, the first with Born Singer (it's a cover of Born Singer, it was only on SoundCloud) + their title tracks + Yet to Come, the second with Run BTS + 2 songs chosen by each of them and the third CD with demos + For Youth (for youth is a song for the army). Run BTS is very up tempo, rap line based (my fave between the three new songs).

0:33 It‘s an anthology album and this is their title track (like lead single in the west. CD1 has all of their title tracks, CD2 subunits and b-sides and CD3 has demos and soundcload releases. CD3 is not on streaming platforms, just on the physical album. But you can find uploads online, for example on youtube (or you can just buy the album 😉). New songs are “Yet To Come“, “Run BTS“ and “For Youth“. The songs “Quotation Mark“ and “Young Love“ on CD3 are unpublished so they also count as new songs.
Edit: I hope you react to Run BTS, one of their other new songs from the album. It sounds very different compared to their other songs and is a hype anthem.

All the little details in the MV have meanings, mostly scenes from their old MVs. Suggest you watch Exceleste explanation for this to understand better.
BTS sitting next to each other when the bus is empty is something they do ALWAYS IRL, there's a picture where there's 4 big sofas and all of them are sitting in the exact same seat, some even sitting on each other. They have no physical contact boundaries, maybe cuz they lived together for a decade but they are soo close. It's an inside joke in the fandom to say that everywhere they go they always have a physical contact. Everywhere. Award shows, interviews, behind the scenes, even at the white house, concerts... They just can't help it but be next to each other. So this was probably unintentional.
In this case though the end of the video is recreating the seating arrangement they were at the end of Spring Day when they were on the train together.

Jk has had the hand tattoo's since late 2019 and has steadily been building a sleeve on his right arm since. Jimin has had a tattoo on his rib cage that says "Nevermind" since 2018, and since then has also gotten "Young" and "Forever" on the backs of his arms, a "13" on his wrist, a crecent moon on the back of his neck (which we think is part of one of the phases of the moon that goes all the way down his spine), and the one behind is ear which says "Youth". Haha, regarding the bus scene....there's a joke that BTS could be in a whole furniture store, and would still all try to sit on one couch.
Even if one or a couple of them aren't really trying to be close like that and go off to sit on their own, it's inevitable that the rest of the group won't let them breathe and in the end they just have to accept and fall in line into the BTS puppy pile lol.
Also, if you think the seating arrangement on the bus was odd, you need to check out the urinal scene in the 'Boy In Luv' MV.

I'm listening to the Proof album and got to the second CD list of songs and it just hit me that they are in order of the fanchant for the members names: Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook. First two songs picked by RM, second two picked by Jin, etc. Maybe a dumb little "ohh!" moment, but I just had to share lol
