Hiking Over the Lofoten Islands With a Girl and a Dog

In this video, I share with you my adventure of hiking over the Lofoten Islands in Northern Norway with my wife and my dog. We did a section of the Long Lofoten Crossing because we only had 4-ish free days. I think that the Lofotens offer some of the most unique and beautiful hiking experiences in the whole of Europe. Someday, I will return to complete the whole trail.

I did the long crossing summer with a girl and a dog august 2023. A lot of rain, wind and mud but above all: beauty.
Great video, great memories.
This place is magic. There are some unexpected huts where you can drop in, warm up and dry clothes as well.
Should be on every bucketlist

Mountain-ash berries that you've shown are just not ripe enough for eating. They become bright red and bitter-sweet when winter comes, that's the ideal time to grab a handful from the tree.

It was and it should be on your bucket list! But it also involved a lot of road walking, overgrown trails, and no markings, because it's an unofficial trail. Even with all that, it was very beautiful
