Nice work.Heres a time saver tip. Chuck your tube in the lathe. Give it a light shot of blaster or wd 40. grab it with a scotch brite and work your way end to end and mill scale is gone. Way faster and easier than sanding. Be sure to deburr the ends first.
hey red beard definitely change my inspiration for a yerf dog this build is nice !! i just recently got one to build with my daughter you have helped me learn a lot with these small engine since i been subscribed to your channel as i picked up a new hobby during covid! thank you red beard!
Love the build. On the rear axle. What is the plate you mount the Miata axles the the rotor going on . Is it custom made or something that can be ordered ?
I hope he replies.. but a single tube wouldnt have enough front to back stability... it could be a single tube but would need a long tube welded into a T on the other end and probably gussets.
I think RUclips's algorithm must be broken because I don't understand how a channel with this high of a subscriber count and high-quality content can have so few views.
I can see you're obviously slam packed busy. I'm the dude with the kilowatt wanting dual control arms front and rear. I've collected the front upper and lowers, front spindles, calipers, rotors and wheels and tires (I've also got the rear wheels and tires) ITP 10x5 4/110 with SunF A021 19x6-10 tires ITP 10x8 4/4 with SunF A021 225/45-10 tires As a reminder I e still got that Harley Sportster 1200cc low mileage bike that runs and drive great mechanically. No title on the motorcycle itself. My nephew purchased the bike and then find the title a few years back. The title loan company closed up shop I'm assuming after bankruptcy never to be seen again and no effort was ever put towards retrieving the title. So I wouldn't have any clue of how to go about getting one. I was more or less thinking of the drivetrain out of the bike myself would be something you could use on your big buggy build. Either way hit me back up through email if you see this. Keep up the amazing work man you're doing great
Awesome project and video!!! are you using 1.25 inch OD 0.19" wall thickness tube size both for all the chasis and roll cage as well as suspension? Is there a reason how you chose this tube size or math behand the decision??
I understand its a go kart.. but yes... I really dislike the seamed tube and or the butt welded pipe on the upper. Still seen red build some crazy shit. And Trust the process..
@@jamelvaughn2010 it's how close the pivot points are together. There is going to be so much leverage. Most fabricators make an A arm because of the strength. Just having a straight arm makes the weak point the frame tabs because there is no triangulation.
The only thing I hate about your channel is. You start a build then you come back to 37 videos later is what it feels like I have to think and remember like when was the last time he worked on this was it two months ago four months ago or six months ago.
Yeah it does suck but sometimes we have to bounce around. This coming year we are changing a ton of stuff including how we do our videos. Stay tuned and you won’t be disappointed.
Yeeessss! Getting soooo excited to see this one rip!
Glad to see you back on this project. Can't wait to see the finished product.
That belt sander is so awesome
It’s definitely in my top 10 of favorite tools.
I don’t know why I wasn’t subscribe to your channel, this is like the fourth time that I have subscribed and rang the bell great job on those a arms!
This thing is going to be sick
Your creative fab skills are shocking to us straight line thinkers-never miss your videos

That’s what we usually do before we bend them. Just got ahead of myself here lol.

Yessss!! I’m excited to see this build and way more excited to see the Sema build
That top A arm design is sweet, nice job!
Thank you sir.
@@RedBeardsGarage what happened with Cars and Cameras?
This was a super helpful video for me, makes my Christmas list grow. lol Thanks again for the great content.
All that hard work, and you make it look EZ.Can't wait to hear the rumble, but will have to.It's worth it on every build. Thanks Mr.and Mrs.Red Beard. :)
You do such a bad ass job dam son keep up your custom work
Thank you man. Hope to keep getting better.
Great content enjoying the build
with the tools you have, work becomes fun, congratulations on your work that is of excellent quality and precision, I speak here from Brazil.
Thanks for all the great videos my man
Thank you for supporting.
You could also use an old style narrowed VW front end with the trailing arms. They really smooth out hard front end hits compared to a-arms.
MORE VIDEOS!!! Can't wait to see both of them run....awesome work really tho
We have a lot coming sir! Thanks for the support.
Great show brother 👏
Wow that’s a unique design 👍🏾👍🏾
11:02 Probabably? Hahaha good stuff man

Check out the furick cups for welding out steel and stainless!
Is this something that you will build along with the spindles to sell? If so, I’m definitely interested
Yeah we are prototyping them now so coming soon.
I like the video. And was wondering do you sell gokarts?
We will sell ones we have built.
@@RedBeardsGarageI kind of want to buy one I live in Louisiana but dont feel like driving to come get one
My drag frame I had made was Mig welded, I prefer tig. Much neater job.
Yeah I hate the prep but love the outcome with tig.
Is there a reason you do the weird upper a arm the way you do instead of just using a single piece of tubing?
I hope he replies.. but a single tube wouldnt have enough front to back stability... it could be a single tube but would need a long tube welded into a T on the other end and probably gussets.
Just to do a different design.

Red Beard probably has so many projects he probably can’t even remember what he is going to do to them in the near future
Owned a yerff just like that man 🤦🏾♂️ that’s so amazing 450🤫🧟♂️🫡🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
Ok so im watching the crosscart playlist. Is there a video where you explain how the chain drive spool is made and constructed?
That's clearly a Yerfmaha
That is a way better name!
What kits do you build or will you build custom kits. ATV arms.

Email me again and I will respond.
Instead of grinding the inside for the bungs to fit, maybe get a reamer of the proper size so you can just open it up perfect and easy every time?
We normally put them in the lathe before bending just got ahead of myself.
Couldnt you add a bend to the top arm so it clears under the Main frame on full compression.
Awesome job! What is your TIG torch setup? Cup, electrode, flow, etc.?

People with pace makers need batteries to live!!!
Forgot about that. I redact my statement.
Hey make a front wheel drive only.
crazy you do all that metal work with no hearing protection…
I wanna drive this
Beleza 👍👍😂😂
Doesn't look like it had much of a turning radius the way those spindles are designed.
1st like
I'd think the top of your A-arms should be bending away from each other. Not crazy about how easy they can hit the frame either. Just my opinion.
use good air tools they use less air then cheep tools Brent Glendale Az.
Man where is the supercharged buggy
Sorry to bother you but 999cc build ? ...or is there a surprise for your fans !
Enjoying your video but please wear hearing protection I’m 63 and I did and still do !
I hate to say it, but those upper control arms look weak. I think you are going to tear the tabs off of the frame, when you nose dive off a jump.
I understand its a go kart.. but yes... I really dislike the seamed tube and or the butt welded pipe on the upper. Still seen red build some crazy shit. And Trust the process..

@@terryj257 I see that too.. any hard hit forward or back will multiply the forces on the tabs..
I see what your saying but I think they will hold up good. Only one way to find out lol. We will send it hard sir very soon.
