I’m old now, but used to dance, ballet and jazz. I came across one of your videos and had never seen this style of dance western swing, of which you and your partner Jacob use as the basis but you’ve gone far beyond and have incorporated so many dance moves into your routines. First the partnership with Jacob is aesthetically perfect. Like Margo and Rudolph Nureyev . I actually see a lot of French Mime and what appears moves so graceful as to be skating on ice. Congratulations and hope to see more. Thank you for sharing on you tube.

I so appreciate this couple's creativity and unique partnering style. The free flow of movement with one sequence effortlessly chaining into the next is memorizing. I enjoy the way they individually shape around each other. This couple HAS elevated the West Coast Swing to a true art form tapping social dance partnering technique, mime and modern dance. I would like to see Emeline develop more extension as in slower, more controlled, higher kick, grand battement capability.
And again so subtle, musical and sensitive to each other and the music…I got emotional watching you dance together…thank you for your presence and way of being with eachother 😍
AT THE END WHEN THEY HUGGED EACH OTHER, I SAW EMELINE CRY. I CRIED AS WELL. I FELT THE FLOOD OF EMOTIONS ...AS ONE THAT LOVES TO DANCE...SO WELL DONE!

The clapping ruins several of the tense sections… social dance crowds are notorious for clapping and cheering at spaces of quiet tension. Just engage in the moment… enjoy the space, it took effort to make it.
