This submarine was bought from a Swedish company and it came in many pieces in a HUGE flat box. Included was one Allen Key Wrench that was used to assemble the entire Sub.
@@BecksHobbyProductions It took much longer to assemble because the people putting it together were men. And of course the first thing they did was throw away the confusing instructions. We men are genetically programmed to NOT follow instructions. Sorry ladies...it's in our DNA.
Assembly instructions are just some other person's idea on how to assemble something. Do you think the guy who invented " The Wheel " had assembly instructions?
Great video well filmed. It looks as if only 4 crew could be sleeping at any time (only 4 bunks in the torpedo room). There was one small cabin aft with a bunk, probably the captain's cabin? Looking again at the video there wasn't access to the rear compartment so maybe a few more bunks back there? There's a ward room for the officers but it looks as if the crew would have to eat at their stations/ bunks.
I actually feel the opposite. I think this is the smallest and with the least amount of room. Sure its wider, but must smaller. The Pampanito seems like the most comfortable one. There is an actual mess in there ;)
Der er da ikke noget underligt i at der var 2 der hed det samme, når man udfaser en og erstatter den giver man jo meget almindeligt det samme navn til nyt fartøj..
Its Great that they kept this as a museum instead of Making it Razor Blades !
We actually have 2 more submarines as museums - pretty neat considering the size of Denmark ☺️

As far as i remember, Denmark bourght the last subs from Norway... Not Sweden.
It came from Ikea??? LOL 😂

She was still a very stunning and beautiful, attack submarine and i am very thankful because she was been preserved as a naval museum 💕💕💕👍👍
Indeed. I have a video as well on her sister ship "Sælen" and have a few seasons had the pleasure to work as a tour guide 😊
I was in a u-boat once, can't remember number and and this small sub is huge! With a third of the crew.
This small sub is huge ??????
Awesome!!! I live near Lake Michigan. I should get a sub, or maybe an aircraft carrier!!! LOL
I hope to do a better video of the one in Copenhagen this fall - a real walkthrough

If you stay tuned I have a much more detailed video going live on Sunday of the "sister boat" Sælen. Come back for that one

Ok, this thing is a cruise liner compared to the Pampanito and the U-Boot you went through. But then again, different eras, different tech.

im guessing the tubes are muzzle loaded like the type23????
I would expect so. But a good question to raise in an upcoming video 😊
Hei, du skrev tidligere at du benyttet Gopro 6 i dine utmerkede film om U-995, men skulle kjøpe GoPro8 (4k). Har du fått prøvd dette ?
Wait, so this sub was faster submerged than on the surface? That makes no sense!!
Actually, this has been true since after WWII where the hull design changed. It was a departure from submersibles and entry of submarines
Not a real good video. Much of the view is blocked by the verbiage written on the screen.

Den forrige "Springeren" står i Aalborg.
Den indgik i flåden i 1964, og blev udfaset i 1990.
Was wondering the same thing. :)
