Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada* *Title: Knowledge of soul and body.* *Bhakta*: - Bhakta means who takes Krishna as most dearest of everything. - BG 15.7: Krishna is our guru. Krishna is our atma. We are part and parcel of Krishna. - SB 7.5.23: nine processes of devotional services. Always think of Krishna. *Body and Soul:* - BG 13.9: Due to body we have problems like janma,mrtya,jara and vyadhi. - Brahman and Para brahman. Atma and paramatma . Ishvar and parmeshvara.We are atma ,we can’t be paramatma, parameshvara. - Krishna is paramatma and present everywhere. He is living in everyone’s heart. - Body is felid of activities. We are occupier of body. - BG 18.61: Body is machine made by maya(material energy) and it is given to us to move just like a car. - The soul or Brahman does not take birth and die, it simply changes the machine(body). - As we wanted to enjoy this material world we have been put into condition of accepting body. - With material possessions we cannot get out of cycle of birth and death. - By giving material possibilities and taking Krishna, worshipping Him in bhakti yoga one can come out of cycle of birth and death. - Bhakta only wanted to serve God basis of God’s desire. Eg: Arjuna. We cannot serve Krishna by own whims. - Mayavadi thinks Brahma has no rup but they imagine some form. - Krishna is real proprietor , we are occupier. - BG 9.25; Basis of qualification one gets body. Eg: Brahma, devata, insects etc. - BG 9.25: It is our choice where to go. We can go to higher planet, stay here or go beyond higher planet at spiritual nature. - We have forgotten Krishna that is why Krishna made all scriptures and vedas. - BG 8.29: Krishna comes to rescue us to save us from moving from one body to other. *Knowledge*: - Human form of life is meant for enquiry. We should enquire as we are eternal why we are put into temporary body. Why should we remain in this condition life. How we can be released out of this life. - SB 11.3.21: One who is inquisitive about spiritual life and spiritual identity he must seek out a bona fide guru. - Krishna is original guru. - BG 2.7: Everyone should accept Krishna or His representatives as guru. - BG 4.34: One who knows Krishna perfectly he is Krishna’s representative. *Practical Applications:* - Meditate about Krishna always to become first class devotee. - Dont manufacture any trademark of Bhakti. - As we have forgotten Krishna, we should concentrate our devotion, mind and activities by Bhakti Yoga staring with hearing.
