    • @OMitsukichan
      @OMitsukichan 8 лет назад

      does wagashi contain any animal product or is it totally vegetarian? and can it be made with alcohol?

    • @SweetsTales
      @SweetsTales  8 лет назад

      A lot of wagashi are made without animal products or alcohol, and most of them are vegetarian-friendly. For example Kingyoku on this clip is only made of sugar and a kind of sea weed. But there are some wagashi of which ingredient is alcohol like "mirin"(sweet cooking rice wine). Mirin is sometimes used for sweet soy sauce-flavored products, for instance. So I recommend you to ask the shopper to be sure.
