A bit of advice so you dont lose your interior carpet retaining clips, place a piece of painter's or masking tape overtop of the rounded head of the clip and tape it to the pry tool before you pop them loose so you don't send them flying across the room like I did.
I have a 2015 mustang the brake light is out my question is do you is there bulbs to replace or it has to be replaced the whole assembly? Thanks in advance
I was just told the same thing by the Ford dealer, my blinker went out in the rear and they're telling me that I have to purchase a $600 tail light and $150 for install because it's an LED. Who is the fucking genius who came up with that at Ford That's what I want to know and I'd like to punch them in the jaw
@@salwansalem8099 oh really? That's great thanks for the information. Do you happen to know if I find somewhere to order them now do I have to take apart the entire tail light assembly? Because I hear opening headlights are tail lights can go very wrong very quick if you don't know what you're doing
I have a 2014 and the rear driver turn signal is going out. Bought the bulb but obviously there’s no way to take the housing unit apart. Am I going to have to buy a whole new unit?
Dumb question I tried splicing my headlight wires. For some reason both my headlight and tail light went out. Are the wires connected from headlight to taillight? Or is this a completely different problem
thanks! that helped. do you know if I can change just the bulb cover in a Mustang 2020? lights are still functional - brake lights and turn signal indicators.
Maybe from a very professional company but no, people are under the impression that light covers are replaceable they don't even sell those separately.
Clear and concise! Thanks a ton.
You're welcome!

BRO! That is PERFECT! Thank you. Water is not draining on 1 side and this most definitely helps👍
Glad it helped!
Thank you so much. I was able to changed my taillight in less than 20 min.
Much appreciated 🙏🏼

i cannot unplug my lights for some reason
yes im pressing the clip down
Same here
At least it’s easy but that’s annoying that you need a whole ass assembly
My 2017 Mustang GT has one rear taillight bulb blown. Is it easy to just change the bulb after removing the light assembly?
The whole light assembly will need to be replaced
You walked me right thru it, fixed, thx!

Thanks

I believe on a 2015 you have to replace the whole LED assembly like the one in the video
@@PYR-Auto thank you for replying

How do you change the light bulb in the tail light?
on these LED style tail lights the whole assembly needs to be replaced, not just the bulb
@PYR-Auto so have to buy a complete assembly for 1 bulb thats not working?.
@@luissalinas4184 there isn't a bulb. it's all LED
Damn
I have the shaker audio sub in the way on my right taillight how do I get it out the way to get the very last bolt I need to take off
Not sure on that - I have not worked on one with the sub

You're Welcome! I'm not sure on the cover but I would guess not as it seems most LED set-ups are sealed units

My 2017 GT doesn't have a second connection, so you'll have to pull the whole wire through hole to get it out
Were you able to re use the harness?
@Fabian Mendoza yeah, you just pull that rubber grommet out and the wires will follow.
Wish I could post a picture on here
Great video👍
Thanks 👍
