I realise this is a little bit late, but a small crochet hook would have made putting the microcord through the hole extremely easy - even easier than poking it through like you did :)
Edit to add (and correct spelling): An added bonus of buying a set of crochet hooks from your local yarn shop (or online) is that if you catch a thread in a wooly sweater, you can pull it back through to the inside or weave the pulled bit back through a bunch of stitches to repair it.

Never seen a cow hitch done like that! Made it 100 times harder than what it needed to be.

They do make amazing dog collars. Unless you have a dog like mine. I swear his only reasons for being are to hunt and to make me question my own sanity.

Do you have any flat weave for bungee rope support office chair? Width of each strap is around 1.7cm to 2cm. Need it to be heavy duty flat weave paracord but not thick

What do you recommend for fasteners on the leather part other than Chicago screws or the smash together rivets? I'm making a dog collar for my sister's dog, but it's a strong dog. Don't want to take a chance of it coming apart by accident. Thanks

Do you ever have an issue with the core strands loosening as you are doing the braid? I have done this a couple times without the adjustable piece, and the collar always ends up being about 1/2 inch longer than when I started. Can't seem to figure out why

Are you using a jig? I went without a jig for a bit, but, for measured projects with core strands, I wouldn't go back!! It makes weaving SO much easier, and I don't have to worry about length changing on me AT ALL. However I set it, is how it stays! (assuming my weave itself is even and well tensioned, anyway :) )

@@celiag9508 Yeah I am using a jig. I have done it a couple times since, and it went much better. I think I just wasn't keep my core strands tight during my first couple weaves. Thanks :)

For the most part your videos are good but I despise the white background. I end up turning it off and look for another.
