Well, I tried this one. Unfortunately, there's moist in the cameras after. and there is possible damage on the board and lcd already. There is no signal on simcard and there is green something on the LCD. They explained that if there's history of accidental fall already, there is possible open on the cover, thus, it is NOT advisable to submerge your phone on water. It just protects from water splash but not encourage to use it underwater. You're welcome
I feel the phone was made to be IP67 in case you, for example, drop it in the sink with the tap running or if you drop it somewhere full of water. I wouldn't recommend submerging it in water but it is fine if you drop it in a small bit of water for a few seconds. Have fun lol.
Don't do this for newer A73 but if you want to throw it and its a kind of old then try to submerge it for experimental purpose.. it's water resist not water proof and whenever the charging port touch the water it conducts electricity and you need to dry it before charging it....thanks

watching this video with an experience my A73 dropped in a drain with dirty water filled but not too depth, for around 9-10hours, somehow it still survived thankfully 😢..glad i bought this phone..(i dont charge at all at first, i just wash with clean water and use the anti bacterial tissue to wipe off the smell and let it dry overnight)
To be honest, I damaged my own A52 phone by being in the water for to long. Till now, the motherboard, battery, speaker still having problems after fixing the wifi/cellular which cost me half of the phone's retail price. (Not including the hardware/spare parts price) The motherboard overheats, the camera has moisture accumulated on the lens, the screen untouchable/no touch response and showing bright white lines/weird color cast, the speaker sound beeps and bops, battery drain 10% per hour even the phone is in airplane mode after removing the charging cable...so much more to the point I'm using old phone now. The A52 has better camera than A73 because of the 2x optical zoom lens which is kinda off-putting for me as Samsung downgrade the A series camera to persuade more people to buy its flagship phone, which again, the same camera as in last year S22. I end up buiyng another Samsung A series phone cause it's the only brand that have biggest discounts, trade ins and original spare parts than other brands. So whatever the phone says is IP67, 68 or whatever, your phone still prone to damage, water still seep into the internals, its best to invest 100% full body waterproof case just to save your (expensive) time & cost of repairing & backing up your data. That was my 2 cents.
Did you guys even know that this is water resistant and not waterproof and therefore please do not use it on seawater or else you will simply ruin your phone, if you would like to play some phone dipping water fun, use a toy phone instead do not mislead the consumer.
