He thinks Trump‘s racist comments fall in that category so he is comfortable with having voted for Trump. Several other black men that I spoke with said that they would never vote for a black woman or that they didn’t believe Kamala Harris was black that she was lying just to get the black vote. I'm 73. I was part of the "Hippie" era. I picketed, protested, and attended sit-ins, partly to gain my right to decide what I can do with my own body. And for 50 years we had won. Now my 17 year old granddaughter does not have that same right to decide her future, and if my 50 year old daughter should have a problematic pregnancy that required a D&C, she could bleed to death waiting for the hospital to find out if it is lawful to give it to her. I'm only 63, but I have feelings very similar to the first lady. I've lived through a dozen presidents, and I NEVER imagined I'd live to see the beginning of the end of American democracy as we know it. Sure, these things won't happen overnight, but the pot's already beginning to boil and the frog never knows until it's too late.
