As a Leeds fan, I have been absolutely blown away by the quality of football this side have produced this season. The way the team works together is remarkable, I've never seen anything like it. Unfortunately, the last few games have gone to prove what we all knew at the start of the season - that there simply is not the individual talent in this team to drag us over the line when it really matters. The intensity is still there, the quality of the build up play has not changed. What's lacking is the cutting edge up front to really drive home the advantage. Put Brentford's front three in this team and we would have over 100 points, I truly believe that.
@@trooperxero Of course. But haven't you already done Arrigo Sacchi,I mean in the video you gave a very short explanation of the tactics and also you told about Sacchi's story a lot.

I really like the trend of CDMS dropping back almost as part of a back-3 and helping circulate the ball. It's a good rotation that allows a player to have a nice set of offensive and defensive contribution to the team. I know in a past Tifo vid, that he uses fullbacks as the outside centerbacks, which makes sense because the player has more skill at being mobile as well as being able to pass the ball up the sides. I know Sheffield United uses a 3-5-2 with overloading centerbacks further up the pitch to help overload the wings. They rotate with the wingback cutting inside, and the midfielder dropping back. In some cases, centerbacks can cut inside to help overload. There are even moments when a centerback crosses across the pitch to the other centerback by the far post. Overall, I love these tactical shifts and the whole Total Football, all these positions and roles that players have are meshing together in weird combinations to create overloads and rotations.
I Love Leeds United, it has been a painful ride the last couple of weeks with losing automatic promotion to Sheff United. Bielsa has turned a squad last year that finished 13th into a strong automatic contending squad with only a couple of additions. In my opinion he is the greatest thing to happen to Leeds United in decades, and even if we do not gain promotion trough the play offs, i can only wish he will be still managing us next season as this season has been the most exciting season i have seen for at least 16 or so years. I can only dream of us getting promotion and having Bielsa managing us in the premier league, if anyone can do it, then is Marcelo Bielsa.

Thanks for this video! I'm currently coaching a 7v7 high school level team and thought that Leeds United's high intensity transitional football would be effective at panicking the opposition. We lost by two goals, but this is a new team I am working with so they were a little lost on what I wanted them to do. It's amazing how well sticking the ball in his own net has worked for him
Please do a video on Dean Smith's Aston Villa? 10 game winning streak etc
Nick Dowling agreed
Who‘s watching this during/after Arsenal?
You were.
Do Chris wilders sheff united tactics
No one cares, even though they got promoted 😂
Here you go I’ll do it: shithouse get a lucky break and give it to Billy sharp. Some more shithousing then a lucky break give it to Sharp. Hoof it give it to sharp. Pass back to Henderson, try shithousing then give it to Jack Clarke to Pablo and 0-1 👍
soultied1919 hahahahahahahahah yet they got automatics over you , must be good then
Lance Hopper no one cares about Leeds either
Aston Villa FC Forever quite right, they did some supreme fruitful shithousing. We didn’t even have to give them a goal either 👍
I hope they'll win play-offs and get in PL.
What app is used for the football pitch? It is brilliant.
Love the coffee sitter
Bielsa has probably been the second most influential person on modern football. (Cruyff 1st)
Edit: 70s onwards
Sorry for my ignorance, but what is it with this "influence" he has provided. How has it changed modern football? Just plain curiosity right here.
Nikola Tesla watch tifo footballs history of bielsa and it explains it
You mean Rinus Michels, not Cruyff.
Nah, Jimmy Hogan is the father of modern football.
Arrigo Sacchi too.
*tomanutdfans* Love ole but imagine United with Bielsa in charge... Rashford's pace and Greenwood's finishing
If you want a beautiful football go for it
But knowing bielsa he will bottle every single important matches, I do rather stick with ole than bielsa tbh.
mata Hari: considering the number of Leeds fans who have probably seen this vid & read your comment, I'm surprised that you haven't got more than one uptick for it (as things stand). Personally, I couldn't agree more with the final part of your last sentence, so there yer go... have yourself another "like". Well done m8.
Would it work though? Teams will park the bus against United and they will be vulnerable to counters with all their players out of position.
Super stuff, as ever..
Worked like a charm against Derby County.
Blkhole02 3 of 4 .... you right xD
Just curious to know as we're all witnessing so many variations in attacking football nowadays, is Jurgen Klopp influenced by Bielsa? Tactically (and on paper too perhaps) Gegenpressing is a touch different to Bielsissme.. But Klopp's sides (especially Liverpool) play alot like Bielsa's Argentina side before the 2002 world cup (especially the quick one touch counters and counter pressing)...
The PL needs Bielsa and Bielsa needs the PL.
Do a video about Sheffield United’s rise to the premier league
Sick video mate
Bamford's been pants. Thank God he's got himself banned, Bielsa wouldn't have changed it otherwise. Roofe will get them up then next season Goat Prem season.
roofe's not injured anymore?
@@pmrzy he's back!
I can't look past Villa to win the playoffs. But if Leeds can do it after blowing automatic promotion in the final stretch it would be a fantastic show of character.
Not bad now though eh
Roofe is gone now
hi. I can point out one game plan of mid field (philips roles) when team play counter attck .philps roles is moving into attac zone at some points ..for first step honestly. that is counter in my thinking .
Fantastic video yet again. Would be good if you could do a video on Crystal Palace under Roy Hodgson and look into their tactics!
Just get the ball to Zaha there you go, Done 😂😂
Pls do one for wilder at sheff U
What’s your obsession with Leeds on this channel?! Can you do a video base on Aston Villa’s 10 game winning run or on Dean Smiths, Richard O’kelly’s and John Terry’s tactics. Leeds are the second biggest club in the championship to Aston Villa. Make a video on them please.
They've done two or three videos on Leeds. And it's not because they're obsessed with Leeds. It's because Bielsa is a massively influencial coach.
As Manu says, we’re looking at Bielsa, who is one of the most influential coaches in world football. He happens to be at Leeds, but the other videos are far more wide-ranging. - Alex
@@Tifo Whilst I am loving the focus on Bielsa and find his approach so interesting, do you actually think you could do a video on Aston Villa and the tactics of their 10 game winning streak? The dynamic of Smith with Terry and O'Kelly working as their head coach trifecta could be interesting? Plus they seem to keep relying on loanees to get them close to the Prem for a couple of seasons only to lose them and have to start again?
Went through two playoff failures in the mid 00's. Don't want to go through another failure. We've gotta be in the Premier League again. The stumbles of the past few weeks have been so frustrating....Bielsa in the PL will be hilarious and awesome to watch.
Superb
I hope leed united win playoff promotion to premier league
not holding my breath as a leeds fan. expecting a 1-0 loss in the final with 40 shots for to 2 against.
Bamford looks like he's banned so with Roofe bk they should have a better chance. Bamford has been Pony.
West Brom vs Leeds United final ....2-1 Leeds!!
@@jackbaldwin35 let see what happen
leeds have a good team now. casilla who could easily play for a PL team, klich who is playing the best season of his career, other guys like hernandez, douglas, philips who improved a lot during this season. and then of course the chelsea boys brown, blackman, bamford and baker...
excited to see them in the prem next season!
They really don’t. Their squad should equal a 10th finish. Compare their team to the likes of West Brom, Nowich and Villa and Leeds fall extremely. I’ve watched about 40 matches of Leeds this season and they play wonderfully, but Bielsa has absolutely squeezed the best out of them.
@@Lions4322 Agreed, but this is the magic of good coaching. They are all professional footballers, coaching should be the difference. Buying the best is the cheat code of football.
Blackman and baker aren't there anymore..
Leeds never ending attacking game is the best.
Please do a video on Bilbao's tactics under Bielsa
Hopefully Leeds will win the playoffs and return to the PL!
Its the same
I have been always wanting Bielsa at Barca I think he is the only one who can take Barca back to glory days.
You have done Leeds and Norwich so can you please do Sheffield United who have had two promotions in just three years
Please. Surely the only team playing with wing centre backs.
Yeah
Finally! Yes Tifo, incredible channel
And Guys They r Back!!!!.
How long are you gunna ignore sheffield utd for?
james thorner 100% agreed, all Leeds, Leeds, Leeds on here
smitemeomightysmiter --- Like the Leeds fans did when Tifo made a Norwich video you mean? ;)
james thorner Stop crying
Well I'm a Yeovil fan, but I can't help but be impressed by what Chris Wilder has achieved there. With a tight budget and an innovative brand of football
The premier league are gonna be shocked how good leeds are their gonna catch people cold bielsa has put his imprint on leeds he is a tactical genius he needs better players if leeds buy the players he wants watch out
massive respect to marcelo bielsa for letting aston villa score the other day👏👏👏
It’s good, but it’s no Chrisy Wilder Sheffield United
Do you still stand by those words?
@@bramleydragon of course I do! He tuck us from league 1 to the prem in 3 season as well as besting Bielsa to get there! One shit season doesn’t change that 😂
@@Haachy Do you think his sacking was harsh?
@@bramleydragon half and half. I’ve got loyalty to him... but he was been a arse
@@Haachy you're not wrong, but in the conflict with club board and owners he was right. And I care about someone being right more than about them being a knob.
