Which for all the knocks on AEW (I don’t subscribe to many of them, bc I like to product), the announcers typically do a great job explaining this to the tv audience who may not be familiar. I just honestly don’t remember if Excalibur mentioned it. I’m sure he did, as he usually does, just can’t remember if I heard it or not. I watch new Japan so it made sense to me, so I probably wasn’t paying attention at the time.
I feel like they didn't mention this on purpose cause of ospreay splitting from Callis, and seems like the rest of the empire is joining up with Don

Mercedes took a great bump, her first in nearly a year; also a relief she seems to be aware of a lot of the enmity toward her from AEW fans, and is either a full heel now, or a tweener; they're saving it for the PPV to 100% confirm it, which is good...

I feel sorry for Swerve and Cody. It seems they were more hotter while chasing. Now they have won the big one and are just floundering around from one irrelevant feud to another. Babyface champions have to lose championships often and regain. The greatest of stories come with the chase.
I remember all the times Batista would get injured and come back to reclaim his WHC almost immediately. It worked every time.
John Cena and Edge did that too. Edge would cash in or do a sneak attack and capture the WWE Championship and then Cena would start the chase
because "good vs evil" is far too cliche and predictable. aew do a great job working people but the majority are just to conditioned by the "good" vs "evil" duality fairy tale. i just think that they're not world champion material or maybe too soon for swerve
How it been done for years, Why the other show let one guy hold it for years, its better to have someone chasing it. When someone gets it, sadly the storyline for them is "done" that was critiqual of the other show for years to "giving in" to the fan base because the one they wanted to win became stale after winning
@@rezsurfer2808 they should "hot potato" the belt anyway because long reigns are boring and again even more predictable. they also need to do more multi matches which are less predictable and is a great way to get top talent in matches together while still keeping them strong

I was in the crowd near Deeb while she was standing on the ramp..... there was mad chants and cheers for her, not much in the way of booing though, hell one guy was chanting "flirts" at her

I'm sad they held Darby's return for this show. I was at Collision last weekend and I would've outscreamed that whole arena if he'd shown up in Vancouver. Darby Allin is my favourite wrestler and I'm glad he's back, though I didn't know about the bus thing, the man is insane.

Hey guys, wwe payed me to leave negative comments about aew... But i cant; its such a great show, im slowly leaving wwe in the past.
Willow's really hit that next level recently. She's great in the ring and fun to listen to. Losing will give Mercedes a ton of heat, but winning would really establish her.

Right now I'm thinking Stat turns on Willow and costs her the title, then to hold Willow over until the world title picture clears up a bit she can try to recover the tbs title. I'd like Mercedes to bring in two more strong women and force Willow to go through a gauntlet to get a rematch with the last opponent being Stat.

Feel like AEW having both their Man and woman world champs be hugely over at the same time makes the show so much enjoyable, especially with their respective surrounding playing huge parts so you can wait until the PPV without it feeling like a drag

I really enjoyed the Bucks going up the ramp doing TK's pre-broadcast hype shtick and asking for an AEW chant sarcastically, and then broke on the mic when they actually got one.

This was a 10/10 episode partly because I was watching this episode who just got into wrestling by watching the Iron Claw, and a few episodes of Dark side of the Ring so it was really fun.

Simon you miss a bunch when you watch. One of the things Callis is said that Cobb will potentially be on AEW TV more because his contract is up.
He didn't even know that Kyle and Cobb are a regular team and stablemates in the United Empire, which have appeared on AEW TV many times, and are managed by Don in AEW...
Elite should dominate for a bit... But I still mis a long strong BCC run and Bryan Danielson should take his last strong championship just to cement the GOAT status! I'd love that! Greatest ever :)

I hate to say it but as a fan the very least I'm annoyed the most I am angry that they are booking the way they are as aew champion. This past Dynamite just made him look stupid. After you got buried on Dynamite 2 weeks in a row he finally get some revenge with this past collision in dynamite in a very rushed revenge angle that should have said better as a long-term storytelling and he doesn't even think to remember that Christian still has Nick Wayne and kill switch to jump him
Willow's doing a good job in this feud, too bad she's just there to be fed to Mercedes. Would be interesting to let an over the top babyface champ have a bit of a run.

Guys that are pretending to be sincere and carrying on the outside to others but everybody knows that on the inside they don't care and they hate everyone and we'll take out their hate on anyone when they can.
