hey i changed my charging board, and worked for days, but now it doesn't charge even changing to another board, etc. It has 10% of battery but is not charging. What could it be?
Don't understand how the repair people charge $90+ to do this.. buddy's using a flexible credit card and guitar picks with what looks like a cuticle cutter as a pry tool. Im gunna rip mine open remove the charge port and solder in a new one and hope that works.. here's to hoping
@@DIYGeardo well guitar picks and a timhortons points card worked for opening the tablet, now to rip apart a old power pack and steal the charger port from that.. I dont have spare parts just sitting around so while I wait for my $1.60 replacement part ill attempt this repair

I got a new board, plugged everything back in but its still not powering on? I kept it on the charger for a good bit but nothing

Well Too Much work and Need Professional Tools..Not worth for even trying
@@DIYGeardo I changed the entire board, it got charged till 13 % & now it doesn't charge again.
Is it any of the flex cable that may be damaged??

Hi. Don't know if you still need one but they have them on Amazon for like $11. I just ordered one. Make sure it's for the Lite. It's a long piece.

Well we have to understand that it includes labor, rent , utilities etc. you do not need to solder
