Looks like i'll be saving my pennies for one of these, there are many situations I've come across where a light like this would be of tremendous benefit, thanks for sharing Tommy stay safe !
You know, Tommy, you've reviewed an army of lights. It would be really helpful if you could do an episode that focuses on budget tiers and what would make sense to buy if you were starting from scratch given everything you know about all the lights you've reviewed. Assuming you had no lights at all, and were an aspiring filmmaker, what would you buy
Hello Tommy I have a pair of Alzo 3200 which sometimes is not bright enough in large areas I was just wondering how much more light would i be getting out of these thanks
Not really since in tv you mostly work on daylight or tungsten unless it's a stylish show where you need rgb so save your money and get regular panels cheaper
Hi! Thanks for this great video! Quick question about the batteries needed for this light... what exactly about the batteries you used makes them work with this light? The output specs or the brand? I've looked on their website and they recommend 2-26V batteries, but yours don't seem to be that but are still working? I'm looking to buy these for work :)
Thanks for the review! It looks like this has a pretty large beam angle. How well do you think it would light a 10 x 10 green screen as far as the evenness of the light?
Another great review. I wonder why companies still insist on putting the controls on the TOP of the fixture. If I need to make a quick adjustment (w/o the remote) I will need a ladder. Still think I'll be picking one up though.
It's actually made by a company named Yidoblo, which I believe is under the brand Foshan Shunde Leliu Meidike. They are also the original creators of the digitalfoto rgb tubes. The more ya know lol
By far, and with no question - the Nova p300c. The only reason I would still recommend this one is if you needed the v-mount power option built in, a larger light source without diffusion for softness, or availability (Novas are going to be sold out for awhile)
Tommy Callaway thank you for replying 🙏🏿, and I realized that the Nova’s are sold out, I rather invest in the Nova so I hope they come back sooner than later
Maybe I missed it, but I think you were going to outline why the DigitalFoto is a better option than the Yidoblo Ai 3000C. Any other new contenders the sky panel space that you like ?
Lots more lights to review these next couple weeks. Stay tuned!
Awesome video! Love the light. Super keen to fin out more about those tubes!
They’re a gem. Awesome and affordable

It’s really a huge amount of output for the price!
Really like your channel....... A LOT, Uncluttered, unpretentious, FACTS & balanced with great intel ... keep it coming.
Thanks man!
Great review Tommy! The light seems like a good buy, love the tube lights too!
Thank you! Yeah it’s a great value if you aren’t super concerned about kelvin accuracy and CRI/TLCI values

Is the output the same or close?
Hello Tommy I have a pair of Alzo 3200 which sometimes is not bright enough in large areas I was just wondering how much more light would i be getting out of these thanks
Awesome video! Would love to see a comparison of the different RGB LED tubes out there, similar to the LED Pocket light video did comparing them all
Thanks for the idea! Will see how many I can collect.. :)
Great view video thanks Do you think this is one great light for studio like TV studio?
Absolutely.
Not really since in tv you mostly work on daylight or tungsten unless it's a stylish show where you need rgb so save your money and get regular panels cheaper
well done Tommy, can you please do the comparison between DigitalFoto S300 vs Ledgo G260

is this any different than the Yidoblo Brand or are they the same exact light spec for spec?
Same exact lights.

I think it work work really well for that.
@@TommyCallaway Cool, thanks for the reply.

Gotcha. I mean, you could always run it upside down. :-D

Nice. Yeah I pointed out that it’s the same model as the yidoblo in this video. 👍
@@TommyCallaway awesome! I didn't get a chance to watch it yet, I apologize for sounding crass 😂
Hey hope all is well, I just had a quick question which would you recommend, This light or the Aputure Nova p300c?

Can this light be used with high speed recording. Let's say a 1000fps?
Maybe I missed it, but I think you were going to outline why the DigitalFoto is a better option than the Yidoblo Ai 3000C. Any other new contenders the sky panel space that you like ?
I think they're actually identical with just slightly different branding. For the money, the Aputure nova is a far better value.
The price keeps inching up...
GTFOOH 14OO$ Who has that kinda money in an apocalypse?
People who were about to spend $6500 on a sky panel 😅
@@TommyCallaway LOL that's true =)
U under the weather bro. U gud?
I’m good, thanks! Just need a haircut lol
Sorry but just not dropping over $1500 right now on something called "DigitalFoto" haha. looks pretty good though. gotta love the Chinese.
