Have you ever thought of leaving India and settling abroad? Do you think moving abroad will solve all your problems? The answer is not simple.

So, what do you think? Will moving abroad really make you happy?
Most definitely. Abhi bhi time hai nikal lo patli Gali se.

After living in the US for 16 years, I still struggle with this. May be i will make an attempt to go back to India with family.

Actually from my childhood I had a lot of desire for studying abroad but some people told me not to go there and to finish my study From my country. At one point I thought it’s ok.but this vedio has cleared my view. No matter where I go I have to face challenge
Do you base your life decisions on what other people tell you or do you live your life based on your desires ?
While living in California. I can relate every bit of it.. after living here for 5 years.. we finally decided to leave US and explore other countries.. US is good like India but it's not our muttar kulcha.. but one thing is sure.. you know it when you are home

Yar US and Europe and India all have their pros and cons... But for people moving out was not always happiness. It was based on monetary concerns and financial stability. If money is good in India then it's ok else it's better to move out for 10 years save money and come back if you don't like it.
Thats smart 🎉
Na ghar ke na ghat ke 😂
Hey Gabblin,i think i can offer you some advice. I have lived for 4 years in Seattle,USA but shifted back to India in 2019. If pollution is the
barrier for you, I suggest shifting to places like Chandigarh,Bangalore,New town Kolkata,Chennai. Also currently the indian startup culture is booming and you can take great advantage of that. On Dec 2016,when I was in Times Square,NY(which is a very famous landmark)gun violence happened which scared the hell out of me.I found a lot of challenges living in US.I personally
beleive that if you are well settled in india where you earn well, there is less pollution and good safety etc ,it is foolish to
leave India.
Plus u have friends and family to catch up with. I cant even imagine diwali without people visiting with sweets or holi without friends and even visiting those old roads and places where we have spent our school life. Yes if i am struggling to make ends meet in india i would move anywhere and everywhere but if anyone is making decent amount of money here, i dont think its worth leaving all friends family memories behind.

I’ll give you a simple perspective. Before people went to States and all countries, because there were opportunities. But now it’s not the case anymore. There are plenty of problems like work visa, jobs etc. Now the opportunities are in India. It’s better to stay here than stay abroad.

Not all Indian cities are polluted, jammed etc like it's shown in the video. Come to Chandigarh and I am sure you will change your perception. Although I had been to London and there is no matche with that. Truth is you always are treated as second class citizen because internally locals know why you left your motherland at first place. India is somewhere in between not great like Europe and not bad like Pakistan, bangaladesh , srilanka etc
I m from chandigarh too and currently living in Delhi. That's what i say to people
@@iamkaur1841 Chandigarh is heaven when compared to cities like Delhi, Noida
Let me also tell you people outside really don't differentiate between India, Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka. Many might not even know we are different countries. Just like many Indians won't know much difference between Lativia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Georgia etc
I agree with you

And so time passes on … a few years , the. 10 years and the couple never returns back … that’s the end my friends … seen it play out a 100 times before … good video though … over the years people who are apprehensive at first about us change their views to the opposite while people who initially wanted to stay in us are ready to go back … I have seen that play out too… also after 10 plus years in us people feel that India is not the same anymore as when they left so why bother changing their life for something they don’t even identify with anymore … basically people stay wherever they are more comfortable… and this keeps changing with time
Bro ive lived for a decade in the west , didnt go back to india for years cuz to be honest i didnt like a lot of things there , but once i visited india cuz i had to , i became a fan of india i fell in love with things again , small things that are a part of life in india that i had forgotten , existed . I do not understand, when you are dissatisfied with India, actually you are disastisfied with the state you are living in or the whole India, have you tried each n every region of India. Like, I am frustrated with traffic and air pollution in Delhi NCR, and hence I like Himalayan states like Uttarakhand and Himachal. Why every body wants to leave a country when they have not tried shifting the state.
Because of job availability maybe..
@@tukitaki6936 yes..this is..
Because abroad even the metro cities have cleaner air, water, less corruption, law and order in place. But in India only hilly areas or some tier 3 cities close to nature are clean.
@@5123karan but somewhere we are also responsible for these issues like corruption and sanitation. In metro cities everyone is busy in just making money. I remember in Delhi MCD workers were on strike and they spread the garbage all around. No body from the area took responsibility to clean that garbage, even when they themselves were residing there. That kind of people they go anywhere in the world they will only create mess.
@@SuperVishalchhabra Nobody in the world takes responsibility. I have seen Brits creating mess and garbage on the streets of London. It's the government's and administration's responsibility to enforce laws and maintain cleanliness. Slowly people get used to it and then behavioural change happens. I strongly disagree when people feel it's our responsibility. No it's the government's first as they have collected tax for that. They have power and resources to do the work.

8 out of 10 Indians would move to USA if given a chance. This is the ultimate truth.
This is correct, and we encourage anyone to move out if they want to, but expecting to find 'happiness' by simply changing your location point on the planet may not be fruitful. Cheers! :D
Is it real US or Gurgarm. Actually I live in Lucknow and have dream to move gurgaon
My 2 cents: It’s all about the fine balance between all the things which matters to you. Your family, financial position, quality of life and future security. As far as you are able to protect these, location does not matter. But if you are not able to find equilibrium between these things, you will not find yourself in peace irrespective of location.

How is it in UK?
@@ayushiraj9535 .As far as I see ..
Pros of UK
1 . 9 am to 5 pm work culture..after that no calls ..couldnt think of this in India..
2. Good practical study for kids
3. Weather in summers (natural beauty all around)
4. Closeness to Europe (can visit and explore various countries) ..
Cons of UK
1. Missing home and parents even though whatsapp video call daily .. In festivals this feeling grows ..even though you join local indian groups ..still that artificial feeling
2. Costly flights to India if not planning in advance
3. Depressive gloomy weather in winters ..always hibernating in winters..when sunshine will come ?
4. Street food is nothing compared to India ..even though UK has Southall, Wembley, East Ham, Leicester etc 5. Although Brits are nice, but they wont let you come in their inner circle
6. Hard to make friends in School (my daughter is in Year 7)
7. Absence of maid (domestic help)- Have to do all cleaning, grass cutting , everything yourself :( ..No comfort like India ....This is really tough when you are coming from work ...
In summary I think ..mind is always divided in two parts whether to stay here or move back !
@@Rahul-ue6st definitely India is best for settling ..Diff people have diff views ..If ur just after money ..This place can give u lots after ILR ..But if ur looking for family time n festivals ..India 👍...I couldn't get what u mean by just transferred..I have to search a new job in India as my current company is British

Given any chance almost anyone will move to US. All this you are saying will never matter. Whether I will find happiness or not , I definitely would like to be depressed or sad when I am rich and have better standard of living. This is real life
Thank you for your opinion, Naqsh! How rich you get is also not completely a function of where you live, but more a function of how much value you create for the society. Things are nuanced.
By all means, one must consider settling abroad, but not with serious expectations. Unmet expectations cause even more unhappiness. Cheers!
Nah bro. US is not for me. The sole reason I would move out of India are the internal issues where citizens are dumb enough to divide India, blame others, the double standards towards muslims, etc. I am just sick of this shit. The reason I don't like US is simply because they have their own internal issues like gun violence, extreme racism, very very expensive, etc.
Obviously If my reasoning for moving out of India is internal issues then I would never move to a country which also has its own internal issues ( which worsens for immigrants ).
@@Ritesh-pv4yi could you be anymore wrong. Different people work in different ways and hence different things work for them for eg someone who does not like meeting relatives or is not a social butterfly, can handle racist remarks would do better abroad but for someone stayinf away from family and friends for a long time is difficult who is emotionally vulnerable would rather be happier in india
Second things is money as u said material possessions , if I can't get a job in india with a good package life would be bad for me here as well as abroad but atleast I'll have more money abroad so going abroad is a better option for me but if I have a good job here and I need social security as well then going abroad would be futile for me.
So it's about individual preferences and how u perceive happiness and what is higher on your priority list.
Happiness to each is their own so there is no fixed place where u would be happy, there are just places which would be more aligned with your perception of happiness and that is the place for you it can be india and it can be abroad too.
@@Ritesh-pv4yi u just sounded like those people that u were addressing ie the ones that find flaws in other countries. Likewise u are finding flaws in india . So basically u missed the whole point of the video . He covered both kinds of people u just had to figure out which one u are and u are among those people who would be happier abroad but u just ruled out the possibility of people being happier here let's be more mature and considerate here. Right
And as regards your last para , it's such a stupid and uninformed statement to make . Have you ever read about PPP if not, please do.
Not necessarily true sir. I have come back after having completed my CPA because I couldnt deal with the racism and didn't want to live under fear cause of the gun laws. Likewise my cousin came back from canada because he could not manage household work by himself whereas my best friend is still in Boston along with a few of our batchmates . They complete their MBA from Bapson college and are living happily there since 3 years so it's a very personal choice the number of people who come back after going abroad is very small and I agree with that because people who go abroad in the first place are the ones who think they can have a better life there but your statement is so wrong.
You guys going good
