- Did you think I wouldn't upload anything this Halloween?! So did I...
This time I put together a 20-minute video. Mostly because I wanted to dump as much Scream Fortress in one video as possible, but also because I was too lazy to split the video in to two videos. And posting another Scream Fortress video would have been silly if I did it like a week from now. But to be honest, Scream Fortress is always a bit of a mess... I had my share of it and now I would like to rest for a while.

PS: I KNOW I didn't have to complete ever part of every contract, but the completionist in my head demanded it.

I like sniping trolldiers with the crossbow. It's pretty awesome when you manage to save someone who would have died from the fall. But when they stand right in front of me? I can't hit them if they're too close. Not even if they stand still and my crosshair is right on them. The bolt just passes them somehow.

I like JUUD0LF's videos, i really do, but that clip with the scout who didn't know anything about the game mode kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth. As a somewhat newer player to TF2 myself (less than 20 hours on any individual class and have never done any of the event) I personally would have wanted to know how that was even possible. I know that this is something most experienced player would or should know, and it makes for great laughs, but the comments in chat almost felt smug.
Like I previously stated, I love JUUD0LF's work and look forward to his videos, and every now and then I try the same sentry jumps or tricks that he does. In that clip however, I feel like the joke was at the expense of someone wanting to have fun in this event and instead feeling frustrated by the end of it.
well.......considering how hell tower normally plays out, he was lucky, sure getting to the book but having ti ripped away from you sucks, but at least he made it to hell, it took me 2-4 hours to do that contract because no one wanted to go to hell even though they were also doing the contract
Honestly, I don't mind watching JUUD0LF's content as he is one of the few that 'actively' posts tf2 videos, but I 100% agree with your statement that it leaves a sour taste. Honestly, and I've noticed this across a lot of his videos (especially his old ones), his grammar of using an unnecessary full stop at the end of any sentence makes a lot of the gameplay feel like it's filled with a really smuggish attitude of 'I'm better than you'. If you look at it from the scout's perspective, being told "No, you didn't." and "No. :D" is somewhat irritating and annoying to deal with
Heres the thing though, he told the player to touch the book but the player instead touched the cage. And it was revealed once he lost the round that juudolf was actually inside the book and not rubbing up against the cage. It's kind of scouts fault for not really thinking about it. It would be best though if valve made it clear that you had to touch the book and not the cage.
Alex Koo yeah I was the scout in that clip, I am not frustrated anymore about the clip, but Juud0lf should at least tell his subscribers to not insult the people he puts on his channel, because I received a lot of insults on my profile and in the comments of the video

I want there to be a reward you get for completing the contracker, because the stars don't carry over to other contract catergories so once you've unlocked all the nodes there's no reason to do the bonus challenges other than a good feeling, something simple like a gift crate you can open, similar to the gift cauldron for completing halloween themed map achievements, just something like that, modivate you to do them
Yeah, that's one of my reasons why I didn't fully do these. If my stars can be enough to carry on for the rest, why even bother wasting my time?
