To me, as a lifelong musician/drummer, THIS album is the epitome of absolutely outstanding songwriting written by three teenagers who, because of their already-high-level knowledge of music theory, harmonic and melodic movement and compositional structure, created a musical masterpiece that, in my opinion, will be hard for even THEM to top, let alone anyone else. Simply breathtaking and mind boggling! ANYONE who thinks that he or she is a good musician and songwriter should listen to this album for a serious dose of humility.
Very well said my friend, I've said since my first listen of this album that in my humble opinion anyway that is was Grammy worthy. The fact that a gem like this was entirely written by three teenagers is mind boggling in itself. Shame that gold like this doesn't get the notoriety that it deserves. Jason Flom from Lava records mentioned it's actually possible that they could become the biggest band in the world. Maybe a wee bit lofty but hey, it's not impossible.
@@ajs1340, honestly, I didn't put much stock in what Jason Flom said in the "Mayday In The Making" documentary. Why? Because what else would people expect him to say about a band that he just signed to his label, that he's definitely said about every band he's signed? To me, it was mostly an obligatory statement. I'm NOT saying that what he said ISN'T a real possibility especially with The Warning, but it didn't ring of absolute sincerity with me.
Oh 100% I have played in bands and worked/ taught in music shops. Never have I heard a teenager so creative with riffs, transitions, sense of expression though lyrics and humility through it all.
They were kids here, performing a concept album that they wrote in their basement. This was October, 2018. Dany was 18. Pau was 16, and Ale was 13. I have no idea how they did it.
I saw you notice the stripes on Dany's neck. They symbolize scars from wounds both physical and emotional the Queen has inflicted upon herself. (I know, I have too much trivia about TW) This album is pretty remarkable and I eagerly look forward to you diving into it. I can't really pick a favorite song but the cheerleader punk feel of P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. has firmly settled in to a soft spot in my heart. Can't wait for you to see it.
1st time I saw them live I thought they were just a good band, like you, I didnt listen to all their stuff yet. I was a booking agent and have listened to 100s of talented bands nobody has ever heard. however when the Warning played Crimson Queen live, at the troubadour, from their Queen of the Murder scene album, I knew, right there, this was something special, and have become an ultimate fan, Warning Army member. and have seen them 12 times live. with more to come.
That was such a great moment - I had no idea she was going to sing Crimson Queen. So lucky! Think she just wanted to give her Acoustasonic a workout. Did you go to both Troubadour shows? The second night was even better, and when Alessia came on to do "Enter Sandman" with them it was so fun!
If you Google The Warning Queen of the Murder Scene, there is a Google document which tells the story, song by song. Awesome album to listen to in one sitting.
You need to watch the entire Lunario show. They are constantly getting better every day but, when you consider they are 18, 16 and 13, at the time, this is the greatest show on earth. I highly doubt any band in the future will ever top this performance.
Arguably their greatest album end to end.... although really all 3 full albums are outstanding.... But musically speaking they do some much more complex things throughout the Queen of the Murder Scene album (QOTMS album) than they do on either of their other albums... far more interesting key changes and time signature changes (particularly in the song you just heard... the time changes are more complex than anything they've done since, and several other songs on that album have wild and awesome key changes that imho are much more progressive and musically interesting than they normally create..... but it was a genre thing they were going through, I think.. and now that they've master that, they went in different directions (Which are also awesome) for the Error album, and now a different direction again with MORE (their post-Error-Album single, presumably, but maybe not, part of whatever album is to come next). They are so frickin prolific, and without ever getting lazy in their efforts
They proved their compositional abilities with QOTMS. Once they level out in the stratosphere i think they're going to treat us with some very special stuff. 4 more albums to go with Lava? First things first....:)
Just a fun one for you to check out on your own time, watch this song from Irving Texas 2022. This is where Lzzy Hale surprises Dany on stage with the all white Gibson Explorer. That is such a heartwarming story and both Dany and Lzzy talk about it in interviews after that happened and what it meant to them. Take care of yourself, whether you have a voice or not going into the show you'll probably lose it Sunday night. At least I've lost my voice the day after each of their shows that i've seen.
The whole QOTMS album is darker and heavier than anything they previously wrote, except maybe Copper Bullets, cuz that song is intense in more ways than one. Ale's bass tone on the QOTMS album is so great and distinctive.
This was an amazing album, unbelievably good for their age! Don’t worry about responding to everyone, it’s normal for when things get hectic with any of the reactors. Some of the top ones rarely respond but it doesn’t stop them from advancing! It’s best to respond to the ones that look the most interesting. I love Ale’s bass line on this, nice level of distortion to make it cut through and sound angry! Dany’s solo is dope, so good and not overdone! Great reaction, good luck at the Docs! 🌹
The Warning Army is such a great community and we support people that support our favorite band in the world! I am so looking forward to your reaction to all the songs on the album in order so you can listen to the story.
Feel better! And this album is darker (lyrically) and heavier (musically), but still the great song-writing & vocals. Dany’s performance is also fantastic as the Queen! I’m sure you’ll love it! ❤
This *is* their best album. *FILLED* with some of their best compositions/examples of musicianship. I *desperately* *neeeed* them to re-release this now on vinyl with how much better they can play now...
You gotta watch the lunario concert all the way through. It's the entire queen of the murder scene album in order. It tells a story and watching it unfold in real time is a must!
This number is GREAT, live. That opening riff, man, I can see Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx listening to that and going "damn, I wish I'd written that one." And Pau's drumming here is SO METAL.
Super reaction! This was the "cd release party" and the first time they played the entire QOTMS album LIVE in front of an audience. Crazy they were only 18, 16, and 13 years old at the time. 🗣 Way to go Ashlena! Glad you are feeling better! 👊🤓
CDMX is the tetragraph designator for Cuidad de Mexico (what we call Mexico City). Similar to how folks use NYC for New York or LON for London. So, yes, this was from the epic Lunario concert in Mexico City. I would agree with most folks that this performance of the entire QotMS album is the live version to watch.
Kill Kill Kill!!!! This is by far, the most heavy metal song in their arsenal, and it fits perfectly into the story of the album. Plus, it's my favorite!!!!! Do the whole album in order, what an amazing conceptual story. It could be a Broadway Musical
You should wait and do this in order , they performed the entire album live at lunario . Since it’s a concept album each song tells a part of the story so in order it’s a novel , a murder bloody psycho stalker novel lol
When you get around to diving into the Queen of the Murder Scene album you should do so with this live show. It was the release party and they played the entire album live front to back. They have a video of the full concert as well as a playlist with the songs individually. I suggest checking them out one by one in order and research what each song is about so you can follow along with the story of the Queen and her descent ruclips.net/p/PL3IHEFyypHXHaPJn5kjvULpZnwN-QUcQm

The girls also watch reaction channels, hey. They might even recognise you. Wouldn't that be crazy. Hope you also get well soon.🤟
Health first, kiddo. I won't give any more suggestions, because you have headed to your concert with all the necessary reactions you need, in a two week period, for optimal experience. XXI Century Blood and QOTMS can wait, along with the pile of Warning behind the scenes. Enjoy the show!!!
i couldn't have said it any better... starting with their first EP/Album, *Escape the Mind* (2015), and coming up through *XXI Century Blood* (2017) and *QOTMS* (2018) doing them in order is a good idea... there's plenty of time and so much footage available 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
The really special thing about this album is that when you listen to it in the album order you can really get the emotional journey that the story goes through. The Lunario concert is a full concert of the whole album, so you could always react to them in order.... (OK, you've listened to some of the songs already so that's probably not going to happen but one can dream can't they?) lol Have a great time at the concert and I look forward to watching the live stream on Monday! ⚡
TBF even if one has listened to numerous songs from QOTMS, watching the entire album/concert in one run, from beginning to end, and following the whole story as written is well worth the time... i'd hazard a guess that it might garner quite many views, too... i know many TWA would watch it again just as they have watched is numerous times before 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
⚡✌️🤘⚠️⚡When ya get a chance, probably after the show you're going to, if not already, you need to watch this show of QOTMS in order, for the Story... Either way, will catch ya. Peace and Health to All! Rock On TW Army!⚡✌️🤟⚠️⚡
Note that there's an organ-like sound when no one's at a keyboard. They use supplemental tracks from time to time like the male voice that comes in near the end of Dust to Dust or the synthesizer sound that starts More. They never develop anything like a dependence on this technique but it does enrich their sound. They never use it as a supplement to their playing or singing.
This song is hevier than the rest of their catalogue. I took a while for me to settle it, but now is one of my favorites. The key changes and the harmony is so cool, but the structure is hard to get at first. Love your reaction! Get better soon ❤
Ashlena do not worry about reacting to comments because we all know that you have a life beyond doing this! I just love watching people react to this band because in many cases it's the same reaction I got and I still get. It's refreshing to see these young adults remain fun and humble as they grow in popularity. Take care of yourself which is the priority and looking forward to watching your next reaction!
This song is actually one of my favorite TW songs. The whole QotMS album is great, and Crimson Queen is another great song from that album, and another one of my TW favorites. The version from this show is especially beautiful.
:) Yeah, the Queen is a really, really f**d up song, and so good. Dany has those "claw" marks for a reason during the concert :) They usually play at least two songs from the album, most of the times it's Dust to Dust and Queen of the Murder Scene, sometimes Hunter or Red Hands never fade. And because the album is concerning mental health issues: Health and family are way more important then PMs or your online community. Before you fall into a deep hole, step a moment back and take your time. Mental and physical health are deeply interwined and people who really like and enjoy your channel will understand that. Just saw another content creator having the need to step back and make a break for around two weeks.....Stay safe, healthy and enjoy the Warning :)
Congrats on 5K and I really hope your voice issue is over soon. Anyway, I know you're gonna listen to QOTMS album first; (just my opinion) It's really best to experience this saga through live performances i.e. Lunario CDMX concert. Hang on enjoy the crazy ride. I've never cried for the antagonist in a story like I did for the QUEEN in this story, so sad and tragic. - SUCH A MASTERPIECE!! 👊⚡️🤘💙
Really great you got to see this prior to the concert - can almost guarantee that they will play this song. Another song I can almost guarantee is Dull Knives - you maybe have already filmed a reaction to it. IF not - strongly recommend the version from The Warning Cave for the De(tour) concert -- a virtual concert to support venues during the pandemic with many many bands participating, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/-VUCzqDyOdI/видео.html&pp=ygUYZHVsbCBrbml2ZXMgd2FybmluZyBjYXZl It is the performance that caught Lzzy Hale's attention, saying "I want to tour with THOSE girls!" And they did!!
Yes, one of their heavier songs. Glad to hear you may come back and do an album review/reaction. This concept album is best consumed with the songs in order to follow the story. 🤘😎❤️⚠️
Dany's stank face when she shreds is fantastic love this song. Don't worry about responding we all appreciate it but don't expect you too especially how fast you are collecting followers thanks for this enjoy the show.
In this record, Pau is the "normal" ego and Dany is the "Queen Ego" Watch Sinister Smiles acoustic version for more chills and the call and response between Dany & Pau
Outstanding show, that one. It was the release of the QOTMS album. They gave it their all and they all more or less collapsed afterwards offstage. (Mexico City is 7000 ft+ sea level) Poor Ale had to stay in bed for a week...... Have fun on Sunday!
I think this is my favorite song from the QOTMS album - at least for this week. Lunario is in Mexico City, over 2,200 meters above sea level. They play gigs in Mexico City on a fairly regular basis, but the altitude still affects them. Also, this show was probably the largest venue and crowd they had played for at that time. (edit: as a headliner). It was a big deal for them and the recordings from this show are pretty good, for your future reference for watching songs from QOTMS. This was the first time they had performed the entire album to the public. If you notice Dany is wearing some scratch marks on her neck and the back of her hands, totally in character for the performance.
Thank you for the reaction. I know that this was recorded before you went to the doctor so I hope everything went well and you will feel better soon. TWA.
I hope your throat will be better SOON and you'll be ready to have the best live experience possible in The Axis Club. Thanks for all the great reactions. If I may give a suggestion: I saw your reaction this week of Tidal, in addition to that the interview with Allison Hagendorf is informative and hillarious and gives you even more insight in the personalities of DPA. Keep it up Ashlena.
Get some rest!! You can read our comments and respond if you really want to......AFTER THE CONCERT!!!!!! Trust me kiddo. No reactor has binge reacted to videos of The Warning as well as you have. We can wait. Glad you're going to the doctor. That's a smart move!🙏
Queen of the Murder Scene is one of the greatest concept albums of our time, I would humbly rank it up there with Pink Floyds The Wall and Queensryches Operation Mindcrime. Does it have the giant budget production of those two albums, no, but the songs hold their own even against those albums!
Take care of yourself, your health, and your family first Ashlena, that's what matters most. QOTMS has become one of my fave TW songs over time! Congrats on 5k 🙌🤘
seguramente, en la carrera de the warning vendrán un sin número de éxitos; pero sin duda este trabajo quedara marcado en mi como el mas trascendental. execelente
QOTMS live 'Lunario' is legit like watching an opera. You see the story unfold and witness Dany transform in front your eyes. It's a creepy, eerie and straight up mesmerizing performance by Dany. I have a degree in fine arts and have been part of more plays that I wish I was a part of. And Dany deserves to be on film or series, as she exhibits all the small nuances and dedication to the character that great actors have. Can't wait for you to do the full album (focus on the storyline and lyrics) then transition over to the LIVE performance. Roger Waters ain't got nothing on them Wall or not.
Getting overwhelmed by the sisters & their army is part of The Warning experience. They often get asked in interviews - what is that with your fan base though? Will wait for your proper review of QOTMS with more time & analysis of the songs. I rate Pau just below Roger Waters in terms of darkness. QOTMS is about unrequited love, self harm & lunacy. Exactly 5 decades back from now Waters discussed death, despair & madness in The Dark Side of the Moon.
This song is my favorite from their entire catalogue. You have reacted to several of their second album, I suggest, if you allow me, random reactions to the rest of the QOTMS songs, then in your time, listen to the whole album and review it. Just my thought. Take care of yourself.
This will always be my personal fav. Not that it’s better than the others but it’s the song that shut up my muso friends that only look at what’s not there instead of what is there. They only saw them as a girl band. And also because I have a daughter that’s an image of Ale so they think I have a soft spot for this band. But now this song has a brilliant guitar solo and Ale bass line is so good that even in the solo the song was still full. It didn’t sound empty because she kept the rhythm going while following the solo. They don’t need a rhythm guitarist because Ale is the rhythm. Some guitar solo feels like it’s there to fill time but not this. Also need to add, they play for the music. Not to look pretty or to commercialise themselves, every fibre goes to the song and we as fans benefit from it.

Thanks Ashlena. You just reminded to watch this entire concert again....:)
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@ashlenamusic It kept this old man up til 2:30am, but a wonderful experience as always.
Thanks....:)
Xx
Note that there's an organ-like sound when no one's at a keyboard. They use supplemental tracks from time to time like the male voice that comes in near the end of Dust to Dust or the synthesizer sound that starts More. They never develop anything like a dependence on this technique but it does enrich their sound. They never use it as a supplement to their playing or singing.
Love that!
If you’re confused about the places CDMX is just abbreviation in Spanish for Mexico City and MX is for Mexico 🤟🏼⚡️⚡️⚡️
Haha thanks
This song is hevier than the rest of their catalogue. I took a while for me to settle it, but now is one of my favorites. The key changes and the harmony is so cool, but the structure is hard to get at first. Love your reaction! Get better soon ❤
Oh I loooove that it’s heavier.
Thank you so much 🥰
This song is actually one of my favorite TW songs.
That's my favorite album of theirs! Dust to Dust is still my favorite of their song! I can't wait to see them on Saturday 😁
Really great you got to see this prior to the concert - can almost guarantee that they will play this song. Another song I can almost guarantee is Dull Knives - you maybe have already filmed a reaction to it. IF not - strongly recommend the version from The Warning Cave for the De(tour) concert -- a virtual concert to support venues during the pandemic with many many bands participating, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/-VUCzqDyOdI/видео.html&pp=ygUYZHVsbCBrbml2ZXMgd2FybmluZyBjYXZl
It is the performance that caught Lzzy Hale's attention, saying "I want to tour with THOSE girls!" And they did!!
Thanks for understanding xx
I enjoy watching your reactions. Of all the reactions I have watched for the Warning I find yours to be sincere and honest. Keep up the good work.
I appreciate that🥹
In this record, Pau is the "normal" ego and Dany is the "Queen Ego" Watch Sinister Smiles acoustic version for more chills and the call and response between Dany & Pau
QOTMS... This is Metal.❤
Outstanding show, that one. It was the release of the QOTMS album. They gave it their all and they all more or less collapsed afterwards offstage. (Mexico City is 7000 ft+ sea level) Poor Ale had to stay in bed for a week...... Have fun on Sunday!
🙋🔥🔥🔥⚡⚡⚡
Para ese momento ya habian abierto para Def Leppard, The Killers y actuado en el Hell & Heaven
But this was the largest crowd they had performed before as a headliner. @@CarlosRivas-cw5wu
Thank you for the reaction. I know that this was recorded before you went to the doctor so I hope everything went well and you will feel better soon. TWA.
All good🤘🏽
I hope your throat will be better SOON and you'll be ready to have the best live experience possible in The Axis Club. Thanks for all the great reactions. If I may give a suggestion: I saw your reaction this week of Tidal, in addition to that the interview with Allison Hagendorf is informative and hillarious and gives you even more insight in the personalities of DPA. Keep it up Ashlena.

Koro su is Japanese for kill , that’s what Pau is singing
Japanese is such a Sickkk language
Get some rest!! You can read our comments and respond if you really want to......AFTER THE CONCERT!!!!!! Trust me kiddo. No reactor has binge reacted to videos of The Warning as well as you have. We can wait. Glad you're going to the doctor. That's a smart move!🙏
Aww yeah I just really wanted to hear as much as possible before going and I’m glad I did
Korosu is kill in Japanese. The ladies are into Japanese Anime and S. Korean K-pop amongst many other Gen Z international cultural pursuits.
I love how eclectic they are
Great song and great performance as always. Thanks and take care of yourself.
Thanks, you too!
Awwwwww thanks! Sorry for the late response trying to get through all my comments
@@ashlenamusic no worries! I know you've got plenty on your plate🍽 🤔 😂
Dany's solo ❤❤❤❤❤❤
seguramente, en la carrera de the warning vendrán un sin número de éxitos; pero sin duda este trabajo quedara marcado en mi como el mas trascendental.
I can’t wait
🤘🤘⚡⚡
I’ll check out the whole album xx
Ashlena TWA loves you but please take care of yourself! Your health comes first because you gotta be ok for Sunday!!
It´s best to make the Lunario concert in order to understand best the history, this was 9 I think
This song is my favorite from their entire catalogue. You have reacted to several of their second album, I suggest, if you allow me, random reactions to the rest of the QOTMS songs, then in your time, listen to the whole album and review it. Just my thought. Take care of yourself.
Please react to all Queen of a murder scene album. It's a Master piece!

Yeah I hate people who don’t listen to female bands or female fronted bands just because they are female. It makes no sense. OPEN YOUR MINDS PEOPLE
@@ashlenamusic I’m not religious but bless you for replying to as much as you can. Because I know many comments you get damn, that a full time job alone. Enjoy your weekend with hubby and baby.
Aww no worries hun xx
Not necessarily the "best"album ( good luck with figuring that one), but for me it is musically the most interesting.
Take some lemon, honey, ginger for that throat
