I was screaming at the tv saying it’s the tow hitch hitting the chassis 🤣🤣 easy to do when your sitting at home on your ass and not there trying to watch every bit to make sure you don’t damage anything. Looks amazing great job 👍👍
As young Jeff was under the bucket getting the chains where they wanted, Jeff had his hands away from the levers his feet away from the pedals,, he had to ensure there was ZERO movement when Jeff's hands and body were near the bucket!
Jeff if you ever do a truck bed project like that again using a tow truck is a bit safer using the hydraulic winch lines and boom you have a bit more control
Like the videos with you and Jeffrey (hope to do the same with my son 1 day), enjoy hearing from him on camera (relatable), love the racing but love the builds too...
Trucks looking good with that bed. Not sure of the temperature there but tulsa is 100 plus with no end in sight. So you got that to look to look forward to for npk in a couple weeks

Re; operating the track rig,, I've operated them from the little rental rigs (Bobcat) to 300 series Cat, 400 series John Deere etc. over the years and can confirm what Jeff said,, they ARE intimidating as the dickens,, especially the first few minutes. They move slowly and powerfully when you first start working,, BUT when your hands are on the levers you get that feeling in the pit of your stomach,, you are responsible for things going well OR things going VERY BAD very quickly! [@40:13 one slight shift of the right track = Jeff Jr being almost knocked off his feet!] Once you're actually doing the work they're designed for,, excavating trenches and holes,, you gain confidence AND PROFICIENCY but those first few moments you had better respect the power and appreciate the potential mistakes that can happen if you're not absolutely focused on your surroundings, people on the ground and where the bucket, the boom, the tracks are and especially the where that tail of the rig is at all times. You did good both Jeffs,, the rigging, the lifts, positioning the bed,, everything went very good.
It sucks that Ben left the the luts race car team because it seem like a cool person and I always enjoyed watching him work while he wasn’t behind the camera I hope you guys get another camera man and also keep up the good work the videos are killer I been enjoying watching you guys work on stuff
Guys just get one of those small tri pods so you can set it down to film you while your working so you don't have to try and hold it with one hand all the time. PITA!!. Hope the GTO rips at the next race!!
Looks like the excavator has a hydraulic leak somewhere. Could see the bucket dropping while it was sitting there. Either that or the controls weren't centred.

I painted alot of big trucks over the years.Essential is a good choice,I used that and Dupont Imron!
