Saw this and instantly went: "Welp, how is my boy getting his ass whooped today?" Being a vegeta fan is suffering bro, that's for sure.

Fun Fact: They got Lani from Team Four Star to reprise his role as Vegeta. Same with Jonah Scott for Thor back in the Wonder Woman fight.
It was obvious Thor was going to win. The second Vegeta went UE that early on the fight it was over. I learned years ago that whichever combatant uses their Trump cards first are 98% most likely to lose. Still a badass fight
Let's be honest Lani (Vegeta's voice actor in DBZ Abridged) was the highlight of the flight, that Final Flash Still gets me
Fun fact recently Thor got an even better power up and inherited the full odin force/ Thor force and he’s basically a god among gods now
I love Thor's scream at the end. Homie knew he just beat one of the most powerful people in fiction. It reminds me of the scream that Samurai Jack made when he shouted "WHO ELSE WANTS SOME?!"
To be fair if these characters were as strong in film as they were in comics then the movies wouldn't be as interesting

When you take into consideration how old Thor is and all, makes sense. With Vegetas zenkai boost if he were around as long as Thor he woulda dog walked him

Mythology Fun Fact (Not Marvel): The reason Mjöllnir is so small is because Loki annoyed the dwarves in fly form as payback for Thor threatening to kill him after pranking his wife into getting a haircut.
It's interesting that they didn't even give Thor his most recent power-up: Inheriting the full totality of the Odin Force - aka all of his father's power on top of his own.

I'm happy Thor Odinson won because the comic book version of the character has rarely been represented in the MCU movies and shows man
this was actually a good fight, i didn’t know thor was so OP and this was only his BASE form
Thor currently is the King of Asgard with Odinforce now known as Thorforce and has taken the entire Power Cosmic from Galactus to become a form call Herald of Nothing.
The problem with Live Action versus animation, or just comics, is that when you're drawing everything anyway, there's no concern for sets or camera or even budget. But once you have to build a set, either in real life or digitally... Suddenly things get a lot smaller in scale comparatively.
Honestly Bardock would’ve been a better match up for Omni-man power level and origin wise. But in terms of story themes homelander is 100% fitting.
The ending of the fight is a direct reference ro the final page of Thor: Worldengine, ya love to see it.
