i have johnny glock triggers in every glock and glock clone i own. love the consistency i get from all of them. i also have a few of his striker assemblies and other various parts in my pistols. Johnny's work actually helps you to achieve true glock perfection.
In a 20 year FLEO career the team only mods I could do was night sights. Since retiring I use red dots, weapon lights and better triggers. I plan on working up a classic 17L and using a Johny Glock trigger. and mod the slide, grip, etc.
Johnny, you had me at "Proprioception". You don't just make triggers. You are the Doctor & Guru of human trigger finger proprioception sensory interface management. Thanks again.
I get asked about the difference between the Competition and Combat triggers all the time. Now I can give them a proper answer! Thanks for the video, I might have to try and review a Competition trigger one of these days.
I just plink with my JG competition trigger. I found the JG combat trigger too hard but it was perfectly smooth and predictable. I like I can trust either and it's all oem parts. I did beat the gun against a table to ensure it wouldn't bypass the safety and it always passed.
There’s a lot of simple fixes for the audio. You can buy a $30 lavaliere (lapel) mic that plugs into an iPhone or just get a decent camera that has a larger directional mic built in. I hope they fix it next video.
@@Libertarian_Neighborif you post attention you’ll see the lav mic clipped into the center of his shirt (it’s on the inside). Might just be some weird interference or a low quality mic :/
I kind of wanna do the full JG trigger instead of the Timney/VEX shoe combo. The reset feels like garbage on the Timney I wish it had a stronger trigger return spring. Keep getting light strikes now too idk how when there is a 6lbs striker spring that is over stock power and it seems to be protruding enough and sliding with no resistance.
Thank, this is exactly what I needed to hear. The main difference between the Competition vs. Combat triggers. Gonna send this to my Glock buddies!!! We’re gonna get a few of your setup’s.
Great video Sir but I'm confused. I run a Glock 45 with a Timney Competition Trigger as my EDC. I'm a former Texas Peace Officer and Retired Marine Raider. I've been in a few gunfights. Aren't real world defensive situations a competition? I use my EDC in competition as well. My OH SHIT moments were with 1911s and Double/single actions long before striker fired tools were thought of. Not real long before but definitely before. I view gunfights as a competition and use my trigger the same in both. I'm in no way a professional shooter like the clients you describe but I've shot plenty of both paper and biological targets. Please do another video explaining your philosophy of the Competition vs. Combat Triggers. Maybe I'm too dense or just a knuckle dragger. Thank you Sir.

love my combat trigger in my gen 4 17 saw a great improvement in my shot accuracy immediately after install. Definitely going to be ordering another for one of my gen 5s keep up the great work!
So whats the benefit of adding both the vex shoe and the striker with the combat kit? Ive always hated my G17.3 trigger and really want to upgrade it but i want to make sure i make the right selection. Ive fallen back in love with shooting again but i also like my weapons to be combat ready at all times which is why im interested in the combat kit
YES! The older guys would show up to USPSA or steel challenge matches with 1911s or Paras with bullseye trigger jobs -- a very light break, with a weak reset. If you compromise the break a bit for a stronger reset, you can actually shoot faster.
Had to go through a lot of trouble to het the trigger imported to Europe. Totally worth it. Love the combat trigger in my g45. You're missing out on a whole market here!
The explanation is great. It really is. But show us. We can watch you and everyone else talk about them. But we want video of them in action. All the videos are always on the combat. We want to see the comp one in all its glory
Hey Johnny! I know g flex triggers are not your product but I was hoping you could help me out! I put a Gen 4 g flex in a Gen 4 Glock 21 45 acp! Technically they didn't make them for the G21 so I improvised! I swapped out the ejector on the g flex with my G21 ejector and it fits perfect but won't reset! I tried bending the connector up and then down but it won't fully reset! The g flex has 2 grooves in it's trigger bar and the G21 trigger bar has only one! Everything else is a perfect match! What do I need to do?
My sheriff in CA has stated that any deviation from manufacturer specs for CCW are not allowed. So no combat triggers for me. That said I do know a few A class and Master Class USPSA Production shooters that shoot Glocks with stock triggers .
@@davidjones8448 not in my county , but in others yes. In my county you can install an Sig SRT in a Sig, but you can’t install a CGW SRT in a CZ. Any change has to be manufacturer specification. Optics don’t change the internal mechanics of the gun.
If the feel is awesome, I know you set your engagement percentage closer to 100% especially with agencies approving and adopting your triggers. That leaves me speechless, hopefully one day I'll be able to have that feel and safety. That means a lot, own it's own merit!
While I agree, I’d like to also commend them for putting more effort into the promotion of their channel. Technical issues are bound to surface when you start playing with new video producing technologies. Give em some time to sort those issues out.
Why give a shit about the audio if you can hear him? It’s the information I’m concerned with, good solid information!!! I could hear him fine. Just a bunch of whiners crying!!! Unreal!!!
You guys have to fix the audio problems!
He strikes me as the kind of guy who's pure substance. He puts all his focus and effort into the important thing, the triggers, not the media.
Its whatever they're using for noise isolation.

Johnny triggers are great. He has called me back personally when ever I have had questions and this was a big plus. He cares, and makes quality parts.
Excellent, just excellent comparison. Thank you

The audio was pretty bad. But still great information.
yeah its sucky, was also bad on the intro ads for the new trigger too. his vids didnt used to be this bad.

I gotta go back in time and see what you do for triggers/glocks with a light primer strike.
Never had one.
Common problem for me with the 80%I've been building.@@Rubeless
Excellent information regarding the difference between a competition set-up and a carry set-up.

Wonder what he could do for a CZ P10?
Makes sense. Great informative video.
Great info, definitely need to fix your audio issues though. Thanks.
Great trigger two of my glocks have them fixing to get one for my glock43x
Dude, I had to shut the volume off and turn on the close captioning to watch this, but loved the info.
not being able to watch a video with talking and music is a sign of autism. may want to speak with your primary physician

Johnny Glock combat trigger in my Glock 48 MOS and my accuracy has increased greatly over stock.
JG is the man, I have his complete Combat package and it is awesome..
Thanks Johnny, I always learn something from your videos

Any answer yet ?? I have the same thoughts
It's a dream of mine to have a Johnny Glocks trigger 😊
Much Love and Respect, God Bless 🙏
Still waiting on the "technical" video showing the geometry differences and stuff 🤞
Thanks... Well said, well presented..
I'd love to try your best trigger but I haven't found anything yet to beat a freedomsmith trigger shoe in a canik tp9sfx
Cmon bro don’t disrespect JOHNNY like that he doesn’t mess with no turk made crap

Great job explaining the different
Great information! I tell people this all the time
Why should I choose your product over gpt? Can get it 77 shipped and I’m a poor college student just trying make my new g45 trigger feel nice
So the competition has lighter pre-travel? Is that the difference?
bought the striker..... its perfect
Johhny! I'm impatiently waiting for my 4311 pre-order, was hoping "by April 1st" meant maybe a week before, not upset just impatient.
Same brotha!
Me too, i was hoping sooner. Just wanting to get it in my 48 sooner than later.
Monday is so far away 😂
I’ve heard there’s a small delay due to a quality control catch🙃 But hey just shows how much they care about delivering the best possible
@@sallisbassin2732 We all got the same email... that's all good.

You make awesome triggers, hands down

You're missing out on a whole market here!
Didn’t really hear what the combat trigger offered on the front end vs the competition
Waiting for 4311 trigger to ship. This will be my 4th JG trigger.
Me too
Do you still have a retail location now that you’ve moved?
Yes
Johnny Glock trigger are very good, only complaint is they get very hot fast, if u shoot 300 to 500 rounds is going to burn u finger.
What would be better for the average person who carries, goes to the range regularly but doesn't compete? Competition or combat?
Combat.
Sick video!
The audio is weird.
Love to see the new place.
Guys, I’m a professional videographer. Reach out to me, let’s fix these audio issues.

Ask the people that made it? Lol
The best.
In a Glock, having a johnny trigger is the same as having an optic, it will not make you a better shooter but makes it easier.
Tuen the music down a little bit

Audio bed is way too high. Voice needed to be properly engineered, even with easy mode audio plugins.
Nobody asked. Another person hating just to hate, talking just to talk.
I’m with you, Johnny, can that background music!
It’s irritating and unnecessary.
Cry about it
What's up with this crappy audio, Johnny!!
Loose the cheesy background music….please

All sales are final. No thanks.
Sorry johnny but what you do - anybody can do. Glock's system is so simple that there is diminishing returns in what you can actually do to them.
Lose the music jonny , can barely hear you
Get rid of the annoying music
